Green Giant Sliced Mushrooms 6oz Jar

I love all Green Giant products but did not get to eat these mushrooms because the bottle of the glass container was cracked on the bottom half and all the mushrooms fell out. It should have been more sturdily packed. Walmart is great and are refunding my money back to me.

I buy sliced onions in a jar for their taste and consistency in things like omelets. While the cost is exorbitant, I close my eyes and buy them anyway. When I want a good omelet, no other mushroom will do. Jolly Green Giant has the best mushroms in a jar. I do not like the small cans of any kind of mushroom.

Like most, if not all cooked or processed mushrooms, they're rubbery. If you chew them long enough, they do taste good, but by the time they taste good, all of the other flavors in your mouth have disappeared. Cook them much longer than normal with sauces and stewsbto really bring out the flavor, maybe chop them up too.

These mushrooms have a fresh taste. They are more expensive than canned but they are bigger and worth the extra cost. They look appetizing too.

Consistently the best mushrooms you don't have to cook. Love them - plain, heated, with any other veggie, in stuffing, over meat sane with pasta. Always clean. So much better than canned. Plus, you can see through the jar before you buy

Green Giant has always been a good brand. Dad got me hooked on eating mushrooms and I just add butter and heat em up. Great taste. Good snack or add to soup or heat and put on a hamburger. A tad expensive, but good for a change.

You can use these in almost everything.

Items were delivered quickly, but they were shipped in a large box with absolutely no packaging to protect them from bouncing around and bumping into each other. As a result, one item broke open and spilled and leaked all over the other items in the box. So I ended up with only 2 jars (because one broke open inside the box) even though I ordered 3. I've ordered items like this before from Walmart and those items were securely packaged to prevent breakage and damage; those items arrived in perfect condition, as you'd expect. I'm not sure what went wrong on this particular order.
