These well-made compost bins are a good value. The pieces fit together easily and the resulting structure is both attractive and functional. I initially purchased two sets to replace my old compost bins, which were made from wire and metal posts. I liked these so much I have just purchased a third set.

This is one of the best purchases that I have made in a long time! It's so easy to assemble and it is sturdy. I just bought one and it is the perfect size for me, but you can buy two or three and place them in a row if you need more dirt. The item was missing one wooden spacer and the company sent it to me right away. Do not buy any other compost bin! This is the best one!! I love it!

Easy to assemble.

It took me no time to put this together. It looks good. I will start filling it with my leaves and see how it goes. Looks much better than the rusty fence one I use to have!

I love this compost bin! Its a great size for me and very sturdy and easy to assemble! I left 2-3 slats off one side so I can get in and turn the material! It just works perfectly for me!

The compostor was pretty easy to set up. My 7 yr old son helped me. He had fun. I read other reviews and they said they didn't give you enough spacers. We experienced the same. Also, you have to get the boards just right or they don't go in very well. It could have been because of humidity. But we got it all assembled and it looks very nice.

While this compost bin appears to be great value for the price and very easy to assemble if you have a rubber mallet , I am a little puzzled by the design. The use of slats for three of the four walls makes good sense but the fourth wall is similarly constructed which means that if you plan is to turn the compost regularly you need to remove the slats and it is far easier to insert seven slats and spacers them than slide each one up to remove. Three walls (21 slats with their spacers would have been better with the forth wall being made of plastic netting that could be hooked onto the posts. An alternative solution to turning the compost might be to use an auger to drill holes in the pile to allow air and water to help speed up the decomposition of garden and kitchen waste.

Well made and cheaper than building a compost bin from scratch with comparable materials. Relatively slow delivery. At $110 a pretty good buy. See comments on Amazon for tips on using this.

Missing spacers! How hard is it to count to 48??? This is a bin that required 4 posts, some slats and spacers. No hardware and you couldn't even get the count correct??? Project left incomplete because of missing spacers. Was it not for the missing parts, this was a good deal for a cedar bin that I am turning into an outdoor storage bin by the pool.

If I didn't hadn't assembled this, I would return it. Planks are rough and 3 split. the spacers are very rough and shoddy and barely holding together. The size is nice but I see myself having to rebuild this in a year or two. Wish I had made one myself instead of paying $110 for this shoddy, poorly cut bin. At least it's cedar so it shouldn't turn to compost too soon. This would get 5 glowing stars if the pieces were much better quality and the spacers not already splitting.
