Greenworks 40V 21" Brushless Self Propelled Lawn Mower with 5.0 Ah Battery and Charger 2516402

Great mower. I only buy Greenworks yard equipment. The first time I used this mower, I didn't realize it had an extra fast mode. The front wheels came up off of the ground and spun like crazy, then the mower took off on it's own. It was half way across the yard before it stopped, because the bails weren't being held down. Found out real quick, that I should keep the setting in the middle of the settings. My 52 year old son used my mower yesterday. He said he was surprised how well the mower worked. He has never used an electric mower before. The battery does take almost two hours to charge, so keep that in mind. Please don't mow a wet yard.

It was able to cut a 1/4 acre yard. Used 2 batteries and had very little charge left on the second. It is much lighter than my gas mower making the self propel helpful for getting out of muddy areas. The bagger was more effective than I thought it would be. I would say the greatest benefit was being able to mow during my son's nap, which was not possible with the gas mower. I will probably need another battery for times when the grass is heavier.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I bought my mower 2 weeks ago and I just love it. I like the option to easily switch between self-drive and manual drive. This is really handy. I also have lots of power to cut my grass. It does a super job.

Had my doubts about all electric mowers. This mower has put all my doubts to rest. Tall grass doesn't stand a chance with this one. Mulches very well. Never use the bag.

A true pleasure to mow the lawn with this mower. Would recommend buying an extra battery. It's performance is on point. Power level is sufficient to mow an unruly lawn.

once i figured out how to start it it has been great quiet cuts pretty good. Only minor irritation blade gets stuck sometimes with not a lot of grass stuck to it

I really like this lawn mower. Battery powered is definitely the best choice along with the self propelled features. The 40 amp battery can cut my front and back yards on a single charge if the self propelled feature isn't used. This feature gives the mower a good push when cutting thicker patches of grass and speeding up the mowing. Adjusting all four wheels with one lever is very easy. The battery takes under two hours to fully charge if one green power light is on %26 under 90 minutes when two lights are green. My model came with one battery but has an extra compartment for an additional battery. Btw, one battery at a time, powers the mower. An additional battery is there for convenience. My mower was price reduced under $400 with free shipping via Walmart membership.Overall, this was an excellent choice for my medium sized yards.

It took me about 45 minutes to assemble. The directions were not helpful. Once assembled it worked beautifully. Seriously, it handled long grass as well as a gas mower. The battery life is between 20 and 30 minutes, if you have a larger yard. This is something to consider. The self-propelled system has an option which enables you to adjust the speed. So that you aren't running to keep up with the mower, it lets you set the pace. So far Great purchase. Loving it.

My lot is about 1/4 acre and the included battery doesn't cut it. I bought a second battery and that addressed most of my range anxiety but I would have been happier with more consistent performance from the included battery.

It won't mow for very long and I bought an extra 6.0 battery with it. The self-propell is too fast, even on the slowest setting and using that really kills the battery fast. It really mows nice but is not practical for my use and I only own .4 acre, including the house, driveway and sidewalks.
