GrillTex Under-the-Grill Protective Patio & Deck Mat, 39" x 72"

This looks very nice and it is HUGE - it covers the space taken up by the grill with plenty of room on all four sides for extra coverage. It seems pretty durable, but I think it would be better if it wasn't as large, but was thicker instead. But, it does it's job and protects my deck from the inevitable leaks/drips of grease from the grill.

Mat was much larger than I expected. Very nice . But It was much tp ;are for our grill and old deck. So I put it to a different use. Our old home the basement leans by my washer and dryer. I hate standing on the cold damp floor. Fits perfect and works wonders. Thanks Spark

I agree with everything listed in the description of this Under-the-Grill Protective Mat. It arrived in the mail rolled up tightly in a cardboard box. When I cut open the box, I was able to easily unroll the mat and it laid perfectly flat on my wooden deck. As you can see in the picture, there is a slight curvy lip around the edges. My other picture shows both the top side and bottom side of the mat as well as the thickness. The thickness I would describe as not too thick not too thin - just right. When I walk on the mat it seems a little spongy and it is not rough on my bare feet. I gave the durability ranking a five not because I have had it a long time and it has held up but because it just seems pretty sturdy to me. It has some weight to it.

I received my GrillTex protective mat from the Spark Reviewer program. This 39 x 72 size mat works as a great protector for our deck. As you can see in my picture it more than covers the length of our grill. It's the perfect size, not too big and definitely not too small. It seems to be quite durable, on the heavy size, which is good. It's very flexible too. When you don't need to use it this mat will easily roll up when you need to store it. It can also be used elsewhere, not just for your grill! Having a protective grill/patio mat is a great idea and we would recommend this GrillTex Under-the-Grill Patio mat to anyone. Protect your deck!

Wonder,just wonderful. So I'm surely believe that the grill is thanking all of us for Cushing The wheel's and leg's¡ But if I am to , honestly what I do may not be the right thing to do, so here it go,what I do with the cush I roll grill off of the Cushing and I stand on it while I am coo. Omgoodness lol maybe that's what it's for¡ Oh well. Thanking you again Walmart Spark's. So most of the time I cook with the matt under the grill. Thanks

This is a wonderful solution if your grill is causing damage to your deck or stone work. It is a very nice size to catch all spills and splatters. I was worried that it was too thin and would not hold up but it is really tough. I like the look of it and that I can hose it off if I want to. It looks great under our grill. I never thought I needed this but now that I have it I will want to have one for all of my grills in the future. It saves a lot of time in clean up and money as it protects the surface below it. My only complaint was that I had to destroy the box it came in to get it out of the box due to the non-skid surface. It really works.

A very nice flexible mat about 1/8 inch thick and 3x6 feet in size. It seems to be constructed of a rubber-like material, with a non-slip surface and will accommodate most grill footprints, including side shelves, to protect patios or decks from grease and stains. Interestingly, I found that it was also acceptable as an anti-fatigue mat if you position it more toward the operator side of the grill. I have only used it for about a week, so I can't attest to the durability, but it does appear to be quite stout.

I love this GrillTex Under-the-Grill Protective Patio & Deck Mat! It fits great, and the grill mat is wide enough to fit under a large or small barbecue grill. It does a good in protecting the patio surface from grease spills and splatter, and also from accidental food droppage too. In addition to preventing grease stains on the patio, I also like the fact that if you drop charcoal on it, it will not burn and cleans off well. The GrillTex Grill Mat has a non-slip backing and it did not slide when putting it on the ground while rolling the grill on top of it. Some cooking grease was spilled on the mat (which made it a bit slippery as well), but it was easily washed off with just soap and water. The mat was then placed under the barbecue grill and the sun dried the remaining wetness up. One thing I have noticed is that this rubber mat is not very thick; which I think it could've been thicker. I worry that after a few months of sitting in the sun and rain all day long, the rubber material may become cracked and damaged. With that being said, the mat is sufficiently weighted and won't blow away on a windy day. I recommend this GrillTex Grill Mat to anyone, and rate this product four stars out of five.

Every backyard/outdoor grill master should be required to have a GrillTex Under-the-Grill Protective Patio & Deck Mat. The bigger the better. The GrillTex Mat is an item that protects your patio and deck, in my car patio. The plastic used to make the GrillTex Mat is thick to withstand the weight of your grill. The GrillTex has three upturned lips to keep your grill secure and to keep any droppings from the inside the mate area. There is not a lift in the front of the mat allowing you the ability to rinse the mat. The flat lip in front gives easy access for placing your grill with rollers on the GrillTex Mat. Each time I have finished grilling out, I rinse the GrillTex. I plan on purchasing another GrillTex Mat to give as a gift to my daughter in law. The quality of the GrillTex Mat looks and feels like it will last for a while. I had a grill mat before and I knew as soon as I grilled on it just once it was not going to last. After one summer in the south, you guessed it, the mat started cracking. Based on that experience I-know the GrillTex Mat will last.

I never really thought about the patio under my grill until I got this mat. For years I have BBQ'd and dripped sauces and grease all over the patio. Now with this mat under the grill the patio will be protected from those spills. The mat is very durable and has a good weight to it. Spills can be wiped right up. The only issue I had and it is minor is the mat kept bunching up as I rolled the grill onto the mat. I just pulled it away from the house a little, then when I rolled the grill onto the mat it had room to move back towards the house. This stopped the bunching issue.
