Well screened, well rinsed, makes for a low sodium growing medium. Coir is good for seed starts or cuttings by itself, as it has micorhizae and a soy based fertilizer charge in the mix. It hydrates easy, and mixed with medium perlite and coarse vermiculate with 10% worm castings makes a great potting mix. I recommend this. I have purchased several times, and will continue using this brand of coir. It even mixes well with peat to help moisture control and buffer the acidity of the peat.

I love this coco brick and I have been using it for all of my plants. It stays moist therefore I don't have to water them as often. No more lifting heavy bags. Will be ordering plenty more

Love this stuff! These size bricks are really easy to work with. They come neatly packaged and are very helpful in setting up my new garden.

I purchased a 10 pack and the bricks seemed smaller than other 1.4 pound bricks I've used, so I weighed about half of them. NONE of them were 1.4 pounds. Most were 1.3, some were lighter. Other than that, the quality seems on par with other coir bricks I've used. Makes a good potting soil.

Every time I water it flies hatch! It's gross. It says washed %26 sanitized but every time I water my house plant I planted it in. It hatches baby flies!

I ordered 2 pks, only got 1. cost twice what I can get them in town.
