Very good no frills coffee maker, with the cone filler basket. I find it easy to operate with no-nonsense buttons and no beeping. One missing feature l would have liked to see is a backlit window for programming, as the display is hard to read without.

I had this same model for several years but accidentally broke it. This is recommended by Consumer Reports (I'm a subscriber) along w/ a few others that cost 2-4x as much. That' s at the listed mfg price! Walmart price is quite a bit less. Again, the best for least. Walmart does it again, including only missing one morning without my coffee!

WE got this as a gift for my husband and he is delighted. He has to get up early for work and used to stagger to the kitchen to turn the coffee on but Now he wakes up to fresh coffee already waiting for him. The coffee pot is easy to use, makes the right amount of coffee at the right time. And it is attractive. No more spilled coffee grounds like with our old coffee pot and it is recommended by Consumers magazine.

Basic coffee maker. Looks same as many others. It is ranked very high by a major consumer organization, right up there with coffee makers costing hundreds and it is less than fifty. The testing organization says that it makes coffee that is better than most and I agree. This product has my personal endorsement.

I found the 24-hour programming feature very easy to use for having my coffee ready when I wanted it. I like the flavor of the coffee it produces very much. The auto pause and pour feature worked great. The only thing I do not like is when I pour my coffee, it drips in the back of the pot.

It's a cone filter which is what we wanted but it lacks a few features - shuts off after 2 hours but doesn't beep, hot plate is not adjustable, no strength selection. However, we would not expect to get those features on such a reasonably priced item. Overall, this is a really great product for a very inexpensive price compared to the ones we were getting before, and we are happy we were able to find a cone filter coffee pot. We're very happy with this product.

The little spring device that hangs down where you put the pot in malfunctioned and coffee was running down onto the counter top. After a few times, it fell out so I used it without the spring and it works okay. At least coffee isn`t running all over the counter top now.

I probably did not fully read the description before buying this coffee maker, because I was disappointed to find it took cone coffee filters, which I do not like and find more expensive than basket style. What I dislike most is the carafe. The opening is small, and coupled with the extreme roundness of the carafe, it is difficult to wash. I use it daily and run my dishwasher about three times a week, thus I hand wash the carafe, and it is not an easy task even though I do not have large hands. Consequently, I returned the Hamilton Beach and purchased a Mr. Coffee, which I love.

This is a basic coffee maker with a serious flaw. The lid on the carafe is hinged and there is no latch to keep the lid closed when pouring coffee. The lid has a nub that one has to push against when pouring coffee. But those not familiar with the carafe can easily pour hot coffee on the counter or themselves. We are likely to dispose of this coffee maker.

While this coffee maker delivers nice tasting coffee, and is easy to use, it has a design flaw that causes the carafe to catch slightly going in and out, and it is made of low quality plastic materials. This combination of bad design and poor materials resulted in the top of the plastic carafe handle that attaches it to the glass holding the coffee to snap off after less than five months of use. It came detached while full of hot coffee, so potentially dangerous. We've had MANY similar coffee pots over the last 40 years and never before had a carafe handle snap off like this.
