I recently recieved the Hamilton Beach microwave and i was highly impressed on how well it works. I really like how the buttons on the front are presented and how you can use the microwave. There is also a list on the inside when you open the microwave that tells you how to warm up certain types of foods, makes it alot easier to know the tips on warming up foods. It warms up dishes quite quickly also. The microwave is made very well and will last a long time. I am very sastified with this microwave and how everything functions on it. I would definitely recommend the Hamilton Beach Microwave.
This is a really nice microwave. Very large. Came with a few dents on the inside after shipping because the glass plate slipped out of the foam sleeve and pushed against the microwave door. Still perfectly usable. Has buttons inside door for easy cooking. Start button adds 30 seconds. There's a +1min and +5min button for easy cooking and defrosting. I would highly recommend this microwave.
I picked up a Hamilton Beach 1.6 Cuft 1100-Watt Countertop Microwave to replace a broken Microwave. The look of the Hamilton Beach Microwave looks expensive with a nice chrome and black finished. The Chrome is polished and not matted which is a throwback to a previous style. The Microwave heats the food evenly because it has a turntable. The microwave is relatively quite and is lighted so you can see how well your food is warming up. Overall, it's a nice product.
Very nice microwave, is a good size and heats food up quickly. Has a 30 second start which is very convenient and you can also add 1 minute and 5 minute increments to food which I liked for defrosting food. Stainless steel door and the rest is black and so it’s a nice design that can match other stainless steel appliances.
Not too big and not too small. Hamilton Beach has done well with this model. The power settings are a little more complicated than a smaller unit but taking time to read the instructions, makes it a breeze to program and get familiar with it. Construction of it is top notch, making an pleasant appearance on the countertop. The turntable diameter is the same size as a larger one, but the low profile makes it fit nicely low mounted cabinets.
Well, I thought i would be happy with it. Not so much. Does it heat well? Yes. But, you can only heat in 10 second increments. Sometimes 10 os to little but 20 is to much. The door is hard to pull open and the legs have no grip. I have more than once almost pulled the whole thing off the counter.
The Hamilton Beach 1.6 Cu ft 1100-Watt countertop microwave only allows you to heat things up in 10 second or 30 second intervals or by choosing from seven presets. I don't know what they were thinking in making a microwave without digits, but this is one reason why I wouldn't recommend this microwave. You would also expect the buttons to be backlit since they are digital but they are not. Mine is also a bit louder than other microwave's. Not sure if they are all like this or if mine is a defect. However, I do like the sleek look and the brightly lit clock that I can see from another room.
This countertop microwave looked nice from the front, but had a dent in the back. We didn’t know if this could have an effect on how long it worked. There were only two boxes to choose from in the store, and neither one was in the best shape. We took a chance on the better looking of the two, but once we saw the dent at home, we decided to return it. We got a completely different microwave.
Instruction manual useless. Can’t get clock to stop flashing but was told that how it works. The light on clock is blinding. Hamilton Beach doesn’t recognize this model…they mad it exclusively for Walmart. Called their customer care and they didn’t have a clue how it works! The worst feature is no keyboard so you have to set it by 1 or 5 minute increments. Going back
This microwave is horrible! The light that displays the time is so bright that you can't see the options and there is no light to see what cooking option to use. It is fine during the day but at night you have to use a flashlight to use the microwave. I am at the point that it is going in the trash and I'm going to purchase another brand, this microwave is the worst purchase I have ever made!
