Very compact and slim. Loving that it fits right up against the wall. The long slots can fit large size sourdough bread or regular slice bread. Not bulky, easy to use and stainless steel matches with everything in my kitchen. Good buy and very affordable price. Definitely would recommend.
I looked far and wide for a toaster that would both fit in our kitchen space and please my husband. I was prepared to return it if it didn't meet his expectations. He LOVES it! And I'm very pleased with the fact that it hit all the correct requirements (wide slots, sleek look and easy to use, does not overheat, etc.) not to mention that it looks great right next to the frig.
This toaster is perfect! It has large openings for whatever you're toasting, holds two regular slices of bread, but I love how you can put a slice of sourdough in it without having to cut the slice of bread in half! The counter space used to store is minimal with the thin, sleak design. I recommend this item.
I love that it toasts sourdough! My toast is evenly browned and crisp; it would be great for bagels, too. It fits nicely on my counter, thank you for the slim design! I'm so over the box; this design fits, works better, and stays cleaner.
Would give it a 5 but it seems to burn the corners of toast causing my fire alarm to go off even when toast is placed in the middle And set on low 3 if set any lower it doesn't toast it enough For this I'm giving it a 4 I do love the slender sleek style and stainless look perfect for the space I wanted
This is a nice looking toaster and does a decent job, but the wellness settings really don't reflect what you'd expect, so playing around with the knob helps to get it setup as long as no one changes it. During its first few uses, the bread would not stay down when pushing the lever. I really had to force it down to get it to stay and start toasting. It now works very well, but the initial first few days I considered sending it back
Toasted unevenly, ends of bread were burnt. Thought there might be a break in period but issue kept occurring. Returned. Went back to using old, shorter 2 slice toaster (same brand but 10 years old)! Old toaster worked fine but wanted the longer slot toaster. Oh well.
The power cord is too darn short. When in use, the toaster smells like the house is on fire. And when the toast is done, it doesn't eject from the toaster. You'll know it's done when your entire kitchen smells like you just had an electronical fire. I think Hamilton Beach needs to take this model back to the drawing board for further review. Otherwise, save your time and money and purchase another toaster.
After three months, the product failed to do its job by toasting the bread because it wouldn't engage when I set the lever down. I'm ashamed of Hamilton Beach. Their product is well-known in my family. This thing wasn't from anan unknown foreign brand. Think about it next time you see Hamilton Beach. It's logo on a product or anything associated with it.
The toaster doesn't do what they said it would do. I made my final decision on the toaster because they (the description) said it would toast evenly on both sides. The toast doesn't toast evenly and the top of the toast doesn't get toasted at all.
