We have been wanting to buy one for years. Finally did it and we don't regret our purchase! It has made the best applesauce, mashed potatoes, and creamed rutabaga!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product exceeded my expectations. It was very comfortable holding it. The control between speeds was easy. I made Butternut squash soup for my mother's church and it was the first to go. I have also made fresh tomato soup, and it definitely beats getting out the blender. I'm trying to get in shape,so I find myself making some more smoothies, fresh fruit and some yogurt in bowl or glass or mug, quick snack in a minute.
I would have given this five starts except for one tiny thing. It would be nice if it had one lower speed. It is a two speed blender. Very powerful. Does the job quickly and easily. It is a little hard controlling the spray if you get too close to the surface while blending. One more "lower" speed would be great to have. Nonetheless, for the price point I am duly impressed with this product. It is surprisingly small and lightweight. Easily handled with one hand. If you are looking for an emersion type blender this is a great choice.
It is super easy to put together and has full proof operation! One button is for slower and the other is for faster so it really limits the ability for someone to get confused. I used it to blend up the ingredients in a butternut squash soup, and I didn't even have to strain it afterwards!
pretty good little immersion blender for the price, Hamilton Beach 2-Speed Immersion Hand Blender for Kitchen with Blending Wand %26 Whisk, Black won't do professional level stuff but it works well for daily or family use on the occasion special dinners/snacks.
It's very powerful, even on the lowest setting. I've only used it a couple times, but it worked very well for me. I used it to make potato leek soup and it blended everything smoothly, without any problems.
my only complaint is that it does not have a continuous button. have to have finger on button to run, and mayb I didn't read description well enough it may have described that. perfect for home use
I looked for the best reviews and ratings and this came up on the top three. However my recent experience with this has been very disappointing, it does not puree, or barely blends and it splashes every where. Waited to long to return it but won't even give it away.
This hand blender only has 2 settings. High and Super High. I got overspill when using with a 24 oz glass. I tried with a 32 oz mason jar but still too much power from the blender. I ended pulsing the button on and off but really impractical. After a couple of days I gave up. They should give you more power setting options to make this blender usable.
I bought this and before it ever delivered I'm getting overwhelmed with messages to review it. I bought it to put with my kitchen gadgets for Thanksgiving dinner in my new kitchen but I am being pester to review so I give overall 1 *
