Hamilton Beach is one of those brands that I have purchased since many years ago and they have a long life. This machine is so powerful and compact. The small food processor has sharp blades and works fantastic. I used the shredder and slicer and chopper yesterday %26 I can't tell you how happy I was using it, instead of using my old processor which does the job for large content but for a small amount of items, this was perfect. I highly recommend it to everyone.
its a nice looking blender better than I thought it to be. the only thing I have a problem with is the cover doesn't stay on the blender no matter how much I put it on it. it just keeps coming off. wish someone would tell me how to keep it on. im sure it will stay on it the more you work on it.
works great! the blender function Blends icy drinks and smoothies really fast, the food processor works great and the individual portion blender bottle is perfect. only complaints I have are that it is a bit difficult to store because there are so many pieces and it's initially a little difficult to get the hang of setting up whichever when you're trying to use. BUT in general it's well worth the money, and once you get the hang of it, its easy.
This blender with food processor functionality is exactly what I wanted to eliminate an extra item on my countertop, namely the food processor. I would have easily given this product 5 stars except that it doesn't comfortably sit under my counter top. Other than that I would highly recommend the purchase for functionality, quality and price!
I tend to like Hamilton Beach appliances. They're cost friendly, sturdy, and do the job....usually. I admit, I bought this mostly for the chopper. I have arthritis in my hands, and some days I just can't use a knife safely. BUT, this 'chopper' blade doesn't do very well. The blades are too low on the spindle, and too close together. If you want your food to be pulverized into mush, you're on the right track. Using the pulse feature is no help, because the blade positioning doesn't move larger pieces from the top into cutting range - forcing a continued demolition of the food that HAS been chopped. I guess I'm going to have to continue searching for a chopper that truly CHOPS food. This is very frustrating - trying to find a reasonably priced ANYTHING is a challenge right now, and to have to replace a brand new appliance is NOT something I thought I'd be doing.
overall its a decent blender but its extremely hard to take off the lid, so if you try to remove it while you have liquid inside you're most likely to make a mess
this is trash and barely works and when it quits working after 4 months you have to pay for them to replace it to have it shipped. they don't provide any tracking info..... don't waste your time or money, but a better system....aka Ninja, wish i would've
This is absolutely the worst food processor i have ever used! Would not even blend egg yolks and jalapeno slices for deviled eggs. I could smash by hand better. Blender part is ok but not good. spend the money on a Ninja!! Also, it is ridiculously loud.
Bought it thinking its a powerful blender, but it was surprising dull blades and couldnt even blend a single vegetable. so dissappinted with the purchase, the blades of the glass jar is not strong enough to blend smoothly. it is also very noisy while using !!
When you use the individual cup as the blender it works good but the food processor and the big blender do not blend well… don't buy it's a waste of money
