Hamilton Beach 6 Qt Programmable Slow Cooker, Defrost Function, Temperature Probe, Stoneware Crock with Removable Pot, Black

I needed a larger slow cooker to replace the one I have had for at least 20 years. They have “come a long way” in 20 years with lots of great programmable options. I love that it has a temperature probe to make sure meats are cooked to perfection. The cooker is very easy to use.

I got this to replace our original Crock-Pot brand that had seen way better days. We LOVE this. We've been using it about twice a week for a month now. Everything about it is easy to use and I had no issues with shipping. Highly recommend

I love my Hamilton Beach slow cooker. I can put a roast with vegetables or whatever I want in it set it to the time go to work come home and the house smells delicious and I have a delicious meal to eat.

They are a beautiful set and so easy to use I love the soft handles that can go into the oven also, the quality is wonderful they have a solid feel in your hands but they are not heavy.

Does great sear great steam and washes like a dream.

Purchased as a second pot for Thanksgiving 2025 but goofed and ordered this one thinking it had a lock-lid which was priority. In my haste, got caught up with the defrost/cook feature overlooking the lid (insert palm to face emoji here, lol). In hindsight, I should have focused on my priority, the lid. Since I WASH everything, the defrost-to-cook feature only works for frozen items I know will already be clean to my standards which are very old-school high. I have only used the pot once and my roast was perfect, everyone enjoyed. I look forward to future use taking advantage of the digital technology too include the temperature probe which will allow me to avoid removing the lid while cooking. Being brand new, I would recommend based on first use, however, its about longevity as well as quality - I hope it pass muster. Time will tell.

Great Crockpot for the money. I thought it had a locking lid but it does not. I cant wait to try the probe.

There is no rubber seal for the cover and no clamps for the lid. Should have looked more closely at pictures.

I've used this twice since Christmas, the probe works fine on my pork roast. The second time I used it I barely clunked the lid and it shattered into little pieces into my meal. Luckily I hadn't thrown my old crock pot away so I used the old lid, though it doesn't have a hole for the probe

Used less than 5 times and quit working.
