Sleek Design

Norma November 24, 2025

I love this kettle. The different options for tea like black tea, green tea, etc to ensure you get it just right. It looks very sleek and the blue lighting makes it look even better. For me the plus was the keep warm function, I love that! Of course how fast it boils water is also pretty awesome.

Love that I can see the water

Oda February 12, 2026

I was looking for a clear replacement for my old kettle and everything seems to be so expensive these days so I was happy to find this very reasonably priced unit. It's pretty, it has lots of options for temperatures and I love that it's clear and I can see the water level and the cleanliness. definitely would recommend.

I love the design! It's aesthetically pleasing and very functional. It has a delicate setting that is similar to the kids temp hot chocolate at Starbucks for when my kids want a quick cup of hot chocolate during the cold weather. I would definitely recommend this kettle.

Very nice! Better than cheaper one I tried which quit working on day 3. Nice temp control and keep warm feature. I use it multiple times a day for coffee, tea and shines up my ceramic cook top with ease, after cleaning (use a thick, folded terry cloth towel so you don't burn yourself).

Great kettle, with one flaw

anonymous October 27, 2025

This is a great kettle - the beeps are quiet enough that it doesn't wake up the house when making tea first thing in the morning. It heats water just as it should, just like the rest of the kettles. I like that this one is made of glass and stainless - the other kettles that are made of plastic always tastes a bit off to me after boiling water. The temps and controls are easy, and it has great capacity. I knocked off one star because of the lid. It is functional, but it doesn't open even 90° so the lid blocks the faucet access and makes cleaning it more of a pain than it really should be… and for no good reason - I see no functional benefit to the lid opening only partially. Overall I really like this kettle and would recommend it… I just wish I didn't get annoyed every time I fill it up.

Pros and cons abound, but not for me.

DavidM March 18, 2026

I really wanted to like this kettle. However, it boils slowly, it's a chunky kettle, and the spout does not pour evenly. What is even more frustrating is the overly bright blue lights when turned on, and the fact that the spring-loaded lid opens too aggressively when the button is pushed. Yes-- imagine hot water flying toward you when you open the lid. I really wish this was a soft open lid instead, so be prepared to put a finger on the lid as it opens. On a positive note, the preset temperatures are a convenient feature and the 'keep warm' functionality is nice. This appears to me that it will be difficult to maintain too, though I am not sure. I say this because there is a tiny, pointy probe on the inside bottom that I would imagine will accumulate a lot of scale buildup which would require constant cleaning. I say spend the extra money and treat yourself to a better quality kettle.

Terrible design

Shannon December 1, 2025

This is so poorly designed it's hard to fill with water. We bought it because it looked like the one we had that finally stopped working after like 5 years. Found that its design is so inferior we were going to take it back but then we realized our old kettle fits on its electric heater. So we are just using the part you plug in with our old kettle and it's been fine!

Must have got a faulty one

PacificaLuna December 1, 2025

I started on the required cleaning boil cycle. It said it had auto shut off, soci went about my business. When I came back to it 20 mins later it was still boiling! It also wouldn't turn off with the start/stop button. None of the buttons worked. I emptied the water out, and started a new boil for the 2 out of 3 cleaning boil cycles before first use. It wouldn't allow me to change the temperature or stop it again. I consulted some troubleshooting online, unplugged it for 10 mins, let the carafe cool down, then replaced with water, replugged it and tried again. Wouldn't even start. Oh and one of the buttons fell off when emptying the water.

It's a terrible water heater. I just got it today, cooked 2 times the water to make milk for baby and it's bad. it stopped working, the handle of the pot boiling water gets terribly hot, the keys do not work, I have to unplug it before stopping. What a terrible experience!

Lasts 5 months for $40 Don't buy Hamilton Beach

mama14 January 5, 2026

Purchased in June on 2024 and broke at the end of December 2024. This cost me $40. It isn't worth 40$ if it only lasts barely 6 months. First the filter broke then the whole top of the lid. I can't return to Walmart because it's past 90 days. Piece of junk. Don't buy Hamilton beach.
