I did a lot of shopping around and reading reviews before completing this purchase and I must say I am glad I did! It does not disappoint. With a real glass container and metal blades the core unit is ideal to sustain the test of time. When you add in the bonus portable container its a win win!

I used the blender once. After putting the smoothie ingredients in it, I spent 5 minutes trying to get the lid on. It blended well. But I couldn't remove the lid! A friend came by this afternoon and after much struggle, he finally got the lid off. I had him put it on %26 remove it several times, but its still very difficult. After sitting dirty 24 hours, I now have it soaking in hot soapy water. I'm still not sure I can use it if I can't remove the lid!!

The lid which fits on very tightly has a very tiny opening on the top for adding additional ingredients. As a result I have to place all my fruits and spinach in the blender before starting it up. It just can't pull everything into the blades without my opening the small top piece and using a butter knife to push ingredients down to get things going. It does blend well once everything has a chance to move around.

nice promo with a travel jar as a plus... as far i would need some more time to know how capable is to crush ice and keep the power so, let wait for a while to give another star

It took several minutes to get the lid on the jar. It blended well. But I cannot get the lid off. Can't get anyone on phone so sent message. I don't want to wash it when it's sticky %26 nasty. I may have to return it. If lid won't come off after 1st use, it mostly likely wont come off with the next use either. Sad.

It is a nice looking appliance. Appreciated the cup that came with it. Unfortunately, the "Crusher" doesn't crush ice for smoothies, etc. I was unpleasantly surprised. The write up doesn't match the performance.

Do not purchase. Mines went out within 4 months and they refused to replace it. Manufacturer want me to pay for shipping when I not suppose too. Extended warranty wouldn't cover because manufacturer's warranty in effect. All rip off! That's why I purchase less from Walmart
