The mixer was a replacement, and has more power than any we have had recently. The beater are excellent, not round wire beaters that you find in many of the hand mixers you find on the market today. If I had to say anything negative about the mixer, it would be that it has too much speed on the low end.
After a couple of moves, I lost my mixers. I'm in a tiny kitchen so when I saw this mixer had its own storage for just the space of the mixer, I had to try it. When it arrived, I was pleasantly shocked at the sturdiness of the container and it had full size heavy beaters, whip, and dough hooks. When we plugged it in to test the strength of the mixer itself, it took right off, on low it was quiet. Moving up to the highest setting, there was some noise, but nothing unusual. My other mixers (a kitchen aide and a black and decker) make the same noise on the highest setting if not worse! I was also very impressed with the weight of it, heavy enough for the bigger jobs, but light enough that you don't mind pulling out every day. Putting it all back into the self-container the first time was comical. However, after working with it, placing and replacing the attachments, we finally got the lid attached. Then we tried to open it up and just get the machine and the attachments desired. Violá! We had done it. Now it sits on my shelf, taking up only the room of the machine. Every thing neat, tidy, and close at hand. . What a cool gift this would be for Valentine's Day, Mother's Day,birthdays, for anybody that likes to bake or whip up eggs this would be a perfect gift. Highly recommended!
I had my mixer for 49 years and it finally died. Bought one of a different brand but returned it a few days later. It only had one speed. Bought this one and absolutely love it. It has so much power and easy to use. Highly recommend it.
i am shocked at the quality of this mixer considering the low price. This is a heavy sturdy mixer that will handle large mixing jobs with ease. ive never purchased a cheap mixer that i really liked. This mixer is fantastic and it is of such quality, i doubt i will ever need to buy another. i definitely recommend
I really like the different beaters and the compartment that holds everything in one place. The speeds should be more variable. The first speed is too fast to start out without making a mess. I have to click off and on to get things started. But the price was right.
I purchased this little mixer to replace my heavy awkward old Kitchen Aid. I love it! It is light weight but well made. It is easy to use and is surprisingly powerful for such a small machine. It was exactly what I was looking for!
The speed on all settings are faster than expected.I had problems with the spatter . The bread attachment was nice, but again, with the speed made the bread over kneaded . It may have been this one mixer.
LOW SPEED THROWS EVERYTHING OUT OF THE BOWL. TRYING TO MIX LIQUIDS AND DRY AND WAS ALL OVER THE COUNTER AND BACKSPLASH. YOU DO NOT HAVE A LOW SPEED TO MIX ON. FIRST SPEED IS HIGH AND GETS HIGHER EVERY CLICK AS YOU GO UP.
Power level one on this is too much one is like a five it's great and I like the capacity and it holds everything together. That is all five stars. It just doesn't seem to have a low speed.. great value money wise.
I have tried to like this mixer, but there is no low speed at all. The first speed is fast and splatters everything all over the place. I have even ordered larger, deeper bowls to stop this from happening, but sadly it still splatters all over everything. The slow speed is not slow by no means. It starts out with high speed and stays on high speed.
