I've only had the Bonsenkitchen Immersion Blender for 7 days, but I really like it. I've used it a lot since it came. I mix my butter coffee every morning and have made a chocolate pudding. Chopped up some nuts and they were perfect. I whipped some whipped cream to go on the pudding. I'll certainly let you know if anything goes wrong, but I'm foreseeing nothing but good thins in this stick blenders future!
I have spent years crushing beans and split peas against the side of a pot with a spoon to aid in producing thickened creamy broth. But I have never gotten the smoothness and body I can produce with this machine! I will never be without an immersion blender again. And this one is a great bargain and a quality tool.
I only have used 2 features. As an immersion blender it is powerful and works excellent. The whisk attachment I only tried because of curiosity. It worked fine although I will continue to whisk by hand. However, if I had issues with arm strength it is nice to know I could use this product to assist me.
I'm so glad I bought it. My learning curve was steep, I'd never used an immersion blender before, it is so powerful, the amount of torque and degtree of suction beneath the rotating head nearly caused me to lose control of it. Placing and removing attachment required a lot of strength to compress the buttons on the side of the blender handle, but I was able to do it. I have arthtitis in hand. However, the attachments were securely inplace during use. I cannot think of any negative issues. Highly recommend.
This immersion blender is pretty powerful. It has 20 different settings, but the settings dial is located right on the top of the unit, which makes it very easy to accidentally change the settings without knowing it. Other than that, this unit is good, and includes lots of helpful attachments.
The blender is so powerful you can't lift it up and down to get larger pieces under the blades. You have to turn it off to break the vaccuum. The chopper bowl will not open at all. The beaker is a great size The whisk works well on liquids.
It doesn’t have holes in the top, which makes immersion blending a little different than how I’ve used one before. And it came with a mixing cylinder that is plastic that can scratch and get little teeny tiny plastic strands into your food! So don’t use with the plastic accessories it comes with.
I was using it to make a cake. When I finished and went to make the icing, I couldn't get it to start. I tried changing plug outlets, still nothing. Very disappointing, because when it turns on, it is phenomenal. I have only had it for about 2 weeks.
It says the food chopper has a non slip bottom, but I didn’t receive one. I emailed the company, they said to return it thru Amazon. I can’t drive to return it. The company won’t send me the part. Plus, I was charged a transaction fee without my knowledge.
"I've used this product three times since purchasing it in June, and now it has completely stopped working. It seems to have worn out quickly. I’ve tried reaching customer support through both the email and phone number listed on the product, but haven’t been able to get in touch with anyone. The only response I received was an email stating, 'Sorry, this is the customer service center for the Amazon platform,' with no further instructions or help. The whole experience feels very misleading."
