HART 1.5-inch Flex Putty Knife, Golden Stainless-Steel

My home is an old Victorian house that was built in 1895. Over the decades before I bought my home, previous tenants and owners did very poor repairs around the place. I had to remove the faceplate on my front door because the wood was so broken and splintered, my door would not close. I needed a small putty knife to "rebuild" the opening with wood putty. This putty knife is great. It is flexible enough to get into the small opening but it has a good "feel" to it. I like the rubberized handle which gives you control even on hot days when your hand might be wet with persperation. My door finally stays shut.

Does as described. Great quality and shows no sign of rusting. I use in a wet oily machining environment and it does the job well, a job it's not even designed to do. Great handle and grip. Can be used for things other than paint.

This is a nicely made tool; comfortable handle. The blade has a very smooth surface. The "golden" appears to be a coating that wears off. I use it to spread glue in woodworking, and it is not that easy to get glue off once it has a chance to dry.

I really like this because of the flexibility.

I won't bend or break the blade. The handle is solid. If you want something to leave your heirs get this one.
