Another Hart tool addition that is a 5 star tool. Happy with this putty knife more than any I've owned. Quality and just perfect in size for me. Happy with my purchase from Hart.
Great product— did the job !
This knife was very sturdy and sharp edged , this was extremely useful tool for filling nail and picture hanger holes . .
Nice and stiff
This is my first time using a putty knife. I used it to scrap all kinds of things. At first it was just going to use it to fill nail holes so that I could paint my wall but then I used it to scrap some dry paint and the rest was history. I've been scraping stuff even on my driveway. Why can't people just throw away their gum in a wrapper and then put it in the trash? Seriously, why?
I got this Hart 3-inch Stiff Putty Knife at just the right time. I am in the process of replacing all my door knobs for the lever style. On the bathroom door the edge had been painted so many times there was paint buildup around the old collar. This putty knife was perfect for getting into the edge of the collar and cutting the old paint so I could remove it. The edge of the putty knife is nice and thin and got in there easily. I am also redoing all the caulk on our windows. This stiff knife works really well to scrape all the hardened caulk off the sill. Highly recommend!
The HART 3" STFF Putty Knife was great for use in scraping off loose paint and old putty. It leaves a smooth surface for the application of new paint or putty. The HART 3" STFF Putty Knife is sharp and strong with a comfortable grip. I recommend HART 3" STFF Putty Knife for anyone's toolbox.
I use this putty knife for everything. I removed some tile in my bathroom and I used this to remove all the glue that was on the floor. It worked great. It has a great rubber extra grip handle that I love. It is 3 inches wide by 9 inches long. every easy to hold and it has a great edge on it. The handle is what I love the best. For puttying up holes or scraping chipped paint it works really well. So well there is nothing to sand when you are done. It is also really easy to clean that's a plus as well. I would recommend to everyone. This is definitely one of my favorite tools.
This is very sturdy and made to last. The handle is thick and comfortable to grip. The handle is rubber so no slipping while using. Removes old putty quickly and clean. Place your putty exactly where you want it. Easy to clean and I highly recommend this tool.
Got this free in exchange for my review. Well, it's a putty knife. Good stiff blade, haven't tested it much, but scraped some stuff just fine, as expected. The thick handle makes for better grip and control over the usual oval wooden handles. The handle is about 1.5" across at widest point (it's tapered slightly), and 4" all the way around. It's got gripper texture on the sides, and is maybe slightly rubberized over plastic/resin? The knife is 8.75" long. The metal end cap helps bang on things, or bugs, if needed. Has a hanger hole too. Only thing I'd complain about if I bought one is the proposed price, which to me is high for a putty knife, but if you do a LOT or puttying or scraping, as in professional or a big DIY project, the quality may be worth it. I expect this to outlast me.
