HART 4-in-1 Chisel and Rasp Tool Set

i like the versatility of these tools. the bladed ends are very sharp. wear good gloves that are made for durability like hyper toughs red and black mechanics gloves. i barely knicked my thumb with the smallest of the chisel blades, but thats all it takes. in fairness it was my own fault for being arrogant. My good cut gloves AKA hyper tough mechanics gloves were within arms reach, The smallest chisel tip was damaged pretty quickly while using it. the bottom of it is made of metal so when you chisel with a hammer it doesnt damage the striking area. i used a regular claw hammer and a deadblow hammer to test which performed best with them. The deadblow hammer worked better for chiseling wood projects, the control was better with the deadblow hammer. if you buy these your gonna wanna look into buying a deadblow hammer or some rubber mallets that have some weight to them. the claw hammer transfered to much strength into the chisel taking way to big of chunks off the pieces i was working on

These are a quality set of chisels. The rasps are an added bonus. I bought 2 sets, one for each of my adult children who own their own homes. Turns out, I use chisels waaay more than I ever thought I might. So, I decided to gift them because it's not typically in most toolboxes.

This set is great - you can chisel and file/rasp all in one. So handy and useful. I'm glad I got these to help me with my various projects. So GREAT! Hart you did good with this one!

I can't believe these were on clearance. The handles are sturdy and blades sharp. I am absolutely impressed with the chisels. Perfect for my DIY projects.

I needed a chisel to work on my front door lock. These were ideal. Extremely sharp, solidly built, and with the added benefit of having a rasp built in, they were exactly what I needed.

The chisels were sharp for my project and the added rasp combination was useful as well.

Did exactly what I needed it to do!

Love these. Can't beat the price and they're solid quality. Sometimes the rasp gets in the way when doing tight chisel jobs. Wish the rasp wasn't on both sides. Also, one of my chisel blades came damaged. It is minor and I don't think it will effect the use, but I like my new stuff to be undamaged :)

interesting concept, but a little awkward to use at first. I would have given 5 stars if the handle wasn't so bulky/ uncomfortable

The chisel itself wasnt too sharp, but if you know how to dharpen them its serming to keep its sharpness. The added rasps file is a nice add on too.
