They hold up my weight and I weigh 260. I don't hang all my weight on them though. They are still holding tight after 4 days. But I have a very smooth surface that they are attached to.

I was cutting fabric with a large grid ruler and it was hard to keep it pressed down. This helps a lot and it cheaper than the ones sold in the quilting stores.

I read some reviews before I bought this product that said it doesn't stick to the wall. Let me tell you, I don't know what those people were doing wrong, but this unit REALLY sticks to the wall. Maybe their tile wasn't smooth or they did not press it against the wall while pressing the levers. All I know this item really worked well. I tried to pull it off the wall and could not. I would recommend this item to anybody.

I have a plastic tub surround so drilling holes into the wall is not an option. I wasn't expecting the bar to have such strong suction. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it works. I really locks on.

Sticks to fiberglass bath/shower wall without slipping. Holds tight. Has a warning light to let one know if it's not affixed safely. Bought two. Works great.

Gave me a more secure feeling while in the shower.

so far so good. had it on the shower wall now for 2 weeks. no slippage or movement. have 4 more waiting to be suctioned to guest bathtub/shower. our camp is next. only complaint is that wife & i, 77 yrs, unable to close tabs on top of handle. had to get our son to do it. we're just not strong enough.

I was hoping this would work pretty good. But only one side works really good. The one locks down tight, and secure and turns the secure thing on. The other side, no matter what you do will not lock down. It doesn't matter what you do it doesn't lick down. It even looks like it's locked down, the tab will even be on secure. But it won't be sectioned to the wall. I've tried everything to trytry vying and make it suction, but it just will not hold. Maybe it's just a flaw in my suction cup. I'm not sure. But if you decide to get this, be careful!

It would not stick to the bath tub or the wall

looked at all the reviews of shwr bars that depend on suction; had decent reviews so bought 3. all of them fell off the shwr wall making a huge noise that scares the snot out of you. really needed this to work for safety. will try one other brand in hopes that this healthsmart brand is just poorly designed. the healthsmart ones do look great, but just wouldn't hold.
