Drive Medical Toilet Safety Rail with Padded Handles

I am a physical therapist and this was recommended to me by another therapist to try for my father in law. It provides much more stability than the versions with two "feet" on the floor. I was skeptical, I'll admit, about the whole unit only interacting with the toilet frame but it works very well!!

I bought this for my husband to make it easier for my husband to get up from the toilet and it was easy to install and I like how easy it is to adjust and I would definitely recommend this product

My mom's bathroom is so small that I was skeptical this would work. It was thrilled that it fit. I also loved the fact that the arms have two adjustment slots so you can make the width wider for a bigger person. I do not think this would work for someone who is obese. I also liked that it was easy to install and easy to remove.

I bought this I to replace a prior safety rail we had that had actually rusted under the toilet seat. This one is much sturdier and has adjustments for width of the bars. Easy assembly with a little muscle and no tools are needed. Looks very nice as well.

I purchased this toilet safety rail for my 80+ yr old Mom. She no longer has use of her left leg and getting up and down onto the toilet took all her strength away. She did not want a huge bulky toilet seat heightener, because she didn't want to subject her visitors to that. Easy to install, just unscrew the bolts that hold down the toilet seat and place the bracket on the porcelain rim, lining up the holes, then place the toilet seat over it and screw the bolts back on. Hint - you should be able to hold the bolt screw stationery with a screw driver while you turn the washer on the underside. I was able to loosen the washers with a gloved hand. Another tip: make sure that you have the arm rails going in the right direction so that the adjustment holes in the main bracket line up. Instruction leaflet is poorly written. I also had to put the arm rails into the bracket BEFORE I screwed in the bolts because there wasn't enough room between the vanity and the side wall. I also installed a suction cup grab rail on the side wall for extra leverage as she pulls herself off of the seat. Mom called me so thrilled the day after I installed it and thanked me again and again for making the bathroom visits not so exhausting.

Bought this for my elderly mother in assisted living. She has a small bathroom so needed one without legs as an aide comes in to help her bathe, etc. It was easy to install. It's very convenient and helps my mother quite a bit. Great tool for the elderly to help maintain some independence.

Not having the front legs on floor or connected to toilet is a hazard. While they don't come completely out, they do move enough that my elderly parent lost their balance more than once.

The description says "NO TOOLS NECESSARY". I would pay $$$ to see someone remove a toilet seat without tools! Negative stars for sturdiness ...the handles wobble and move around, and the front part that goes between seat and toilet is not secured in any manner.

Not sure if I will use this. After putting it all together it doesn't go back far enough to allow the lid on the toilet seat to go all the way back . Not a good fit and no way to adjust it

Doesn't stay on inside under seat. Easily slides out under seat and falls to the side of toilet %26 just hangs there. I have an elongated toilet seat . I do not have a round toilet seat. That honestly shouldn't make a difference, but I just wanted to mention that in case it's a question.
