I love that you can split the dye into multiple treatments/separate uses! I keep my hair in shorter styles, and was always wasting half my hair dye whenever I decided to color it. Read the directions first, and it will tell you how to mix a portion and save to unmixed product for another day! Awesome if you just need to do roots too! And so much gentler to my head and hair than a typical chlorine bleach formula! The last huge win is that it beautifully covers my gray strands, and it lasts! My fav permanent hair color, and I've tried nearly every brand on the shelves and available online! This last year I've been use this to prep before adding a fun temp color, and its so easy to tone with a "blonding" shampoo when you wash the dye out! So easy and versatile, and leaves a very pretty blonde all by itself!

I have been using Herbatint for many years and I like it. I used other products but they cause me some irritation on my scalp. Herbatint is the only one that does not cause any irritations. It picks up my gray quite nicely. 70% of my hair are gray but people do not notice I have gray. I think the package has been renewed, please see the photo.

Price is ok. I messed up a couple of times on the measuring but the color turned out alright regardless of me. Now that I have that part in hand it should be better. I am still not liking how off the color chart is to the name of the hair color. that takes much getting used to. I do like the fact that they don't use lots of the bad stuff in the product since I do have an itchy scalp.

I must first point out that this hair color product does not come with an application bottle and must be mixed in a seperate container or bottle that is NOT provided. It does become a gel once mixed and does have "safer" ingredients than other permanent hair color brands. It covers grey hair pretty well %26 has no awful chemical burning or smell. I bought light ash blonde and I love the color as it is much closer to a medium ash blonde which I prefer. I will buy this again because of the great quality of the less harmful ingredients. It could use a little price reduction

I am really allergic to a lot of things. This Herbatint is the only product I can currently use and not have a reaction. I also use the shampoo and conditioner from Herbatint. The color is great and covers really well. Quite simple to use with 2 bottles you mix together and wait for the time to complete and done.

I absolutely love this brand. Now that I'm 29 (aka 62), I need to color a little more often. Quality makes a big difference in looking young and gorgeous! I used cheaper brands that caused hair damage and dull, dry hair. This brand is affordable and salon quality. You deserve to be pampered. Treat yourself! Research your color/shade before finding the one that fits you best.

it makes a natural brown color like my own color i only do my roots so i get two 30mL dyes out of it. i use 30mL, cap up the bottles, then in about a month i use the other 30 mL. so it basically costs half as much per dye session. not much smell, no amminia.

happy to find "herbatint" vegan hair color at walmart! this is a great product and this brand works well, although I would suggest moisturizing well before coloring, especially before using the lighter colors, such as levels 8 and above, as i have found them to be somewhat drying. The 7M Mahogany Blonde is a beautiful color. Any of their colors can be blended with the others to create custom shades.

Felt the product was quality did not dry out my hair, easy to rinse out do not leave much residue behind. Only thing I did not care for is very thin, very watery barely any thickness so drippage when using a brush was continuous (felt a lot of lost product from dripping everywhere). Made a mess because of this felt color was a little more read than I wanted or would've liked
