Purchased for our 15 year old son's birthday - over one month of use and can honestly say it was a fantastic buy! It's the perfect size for his room without being too bulky. You can fit several drinks snacks inside. 10/10 recommend for size, price quality
It's the perfect size for n office or bedroom. I was looking for something I can keep a few items cold in my rented bedroom and thus fridge is perfect. It's quite, doesn't take up that much room and even looks good on the shelf. I can load it up with mt waterloo and leftovers, and it keeps everything nice and cold. I actually had to turn the settings down as it was freezing the waterloo.
This may sound silly, but trying to find a mini fridge without bold company logos on the front is difficult because some are really tacky and that bothers me. I wanted a small black fridge with a gold handle. I bought this one, and purchased a gold handle with an adhesive backing that arrives tomorrow. This should have a “clean but custom” look. The dimensions are perfect for one person. I cut out a shelf in my loft to set this at the right height. The bottom part back is intended to be open. I see complaints from these small fridges that they are missing the “back.” The back is intended to face the wall and gives the compressor breathing room. Hard to tell from the photos but there is 19 inches behind the fridge. The item arrived with zero dents and cooled down completely the same night. I don't hear it at all, so I would say it's very quiet. The space is perfect for late-night snacks and any “go-to” items without having to go downstairs. The only thing that could be better is the energy efficiency. This is rated a (2) so it will cost more to run annually than a higher rating. All in all, I love the fridge, and it was a good purchase
I just plugged it in today and so far it is working fine and getting cold. The mini freezer compartment seems to get very cold as well (my little thermometer in the picture I brought in from outside to test it says about 20° F). Started getting cold almost immediately after plugging it in. So so far I'm satisfied with how cold it's getting which is why I bought it because I had just bought a smaller “personal chiller” from a different brand that did not get cold enough so I had to take that one back. The only issue I'm having with it which was present before plugging in is that it is unbalanced so it tips over a little whenever I open it. It seems that one of the 4 feet/legs on the bottom 4 corners of the fridge must be slightly shorter than the others. It is annoying but so far not causing too much issue. It's also not too loud in my opinion. It does make noise but it is not constant. It gets a little louder after it's been open for a minute and probably the compressor/machine or something needs to work to keep it cool (idk how fridges work lol) so that is the loudest part but again, that specific noise is not constant. I think it does make some noise though. If the Walmart website lets me I will update if anything changes but so far so good after only a day.
I love the unit so far it's a really good it does the job that's supposed to but it does make a lot of compression noises from expanding noises like you can literally hear it every once in a while at least a few times in the day besides that I only have another complaint which is that it's recommended to put on structure or on hardwood floors cuz on rugs or carpets the door would drag no matter how high it put the feet but overall nine out of 10
So this mini fridge is exactly what I needed …. except the door opens to the wrong side. Ok no problem, it says it can be easily moved to the other side. Good let's do that…. Except the holes don't line up properly. For starters the holes on the other side were filled with foam, and the foam sprayed out, so I had to scrape it away to find said holes. Then after moving all the hardware over, the top holes are drilled a tad too close to the front. This causes the door to not close tightly. I had to put everything back to the other side. Other than that it functions as it should.
I use the treadmill every morning and wanted to keep cold water easily available. I didn't need something expensive, just reliable. So far this has worked great. It stores 8 ounce water bottles easily. Storing 16 ounces a little more difficult because the bottles have to lay down. But it works.
Unfortunately, our refrigerator had a pretty big full size dent on the front. The carton was damaged so it should not have been sold at full price. Unfortunately, the reason we bought it was that our full sized frig quit working and we needed it until our part came in or I would have returned it. It works great and saved the day otherwise!
I bout this mini fridge for my room and when I opened it to set it up there was literally MOLD all over the interior of the item. Mind you I thought this would've been a brand new mini fridge due it not tell you it was used. I don't have a vehicle and now I have to wait for the item to be shipped back to Walmart for them to assess the item just for me to get my money back.
I like this product I bought two other items that don't work. !800 WALMART is ALWAYS busy. I regret having bought the Walmart . Walmart doesn't take exchanges. Thank goodness for Amazon. I dare you to post this. I bought a fire extinguisher which was broken during shipping and Walmart refuses to exchange it. Close to the same time I bought a Bristol free grill brush that spins which doesn't come apart to clean . I have called 1800walmart NUMEROUS TIMES and is always busy no matter the time tried. I called the store manager and she told me I would be wasting my time bring it there because she is not allowed to replace on-line items.
