I'm Sooo thankful I had this took. It allowed me to catch about 90% of the mess. With that in mind, it does not catch everything. So, as expected you will still have a mess, just a MUCH smaller one. It's also pretty easy to take off the old bag and attach a new one. The scraper blade was the perfect sharpness to get a smooth finish but not leaving scapes or holes.

I hate my popcorn ceilings and wanted to remove them. after watching several YouTube videos and buying this ceiling scraper I am able to do it myself. it is definitely a difficult job and I have a new respect for people that do this for a living. I would definitely recommend this product because it cuts down on the horrible mess that scraping popcorn ceiling makes. this ceiling scraper allows you to put a bag on it to catch the popcorn material coming off as you scrape it off the ceiling.

Overall, it got the job done. The metal bent and had to keep straightening it back out. The bag gets heavy quick so you can only work in 2x2 area or it causes drag and extra strength to push. Stopping and dumping is time consuming. Will not use a bag next time.

Easy to attach the bag to in order to catch the trash but the plastic scraper is junk. It took me much longer using this versus the regular metal scraper. I wish they'd make this with a true metal scraper.

didn't work for me, it's hard to see where you're scraping with the bag on. I made a bigger mess of my ceiling, the blade is so wide every time I tried to scrap I put gouges in the ceiling. I called the number to return it, after three times the messaging saying I was the next in line, another recording came on told me to leave my name, number and information and they would call me back. That was 3 days ago, haven't heard from them. If I had known I couldn't return it to Walmart I probably wouldn't have bought it.
