Homax Popcorn Ceiling Texture Scraper with Metal Blade, 1 Pack

didn't work for me, it's hard to see where you're scraping with the bag on. I made a bigger mess of my ceiling, the blade is so wide every time I tried to scrap I put gouges in the ceiling. I called the number to return it, after three times the messaging saying I was the next in line, another recording came on told me to leave my name, number and information and they would call me back. That was 3 days ago, haven't heard from them. If I had known I couldn't return it to Walmart I probably wouldn't have bought it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am always doing DIY projects on my own initiative but I have never had the opportunity to scratch a ceiling before but I have a small project on the way to remodel a room and I know that this tool (Celling texture Scraper) will be very useful to me. I wasn't sure how to use it but I read the instructions and did a little test and liked the results I got. I proceeded to wet an area of the roof and put a bag of groceries to start scraping and immediately the debris began to fall and I noticed that the bag was heavy, that is, I do not think that a garbage bag can be placed because this would make the job difficult. getting slower and heavier ... but otherwise I found the trial time fun and safe. When the project starts the ceiling area will be bigger and I hope to be able to carry it out expecting excellent results as in my test. I know that it will be very useful because I consider that it is the ideal tool for those purposes ..... good weight, firmness, and easy to maneuver ...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Homax ceiling texture scraper is great. This product removes popcorn texture with ease. It’s so nice because you can catch any mess with the bag attachment. This is a great product and very easy to work with would recommend this product.

Doesn't work well at all. I don't recommend for popcorn ceiling removal.

didn't work too hard to use stuff fell everywhere

The Popcorn Ceiling Scraper worked great. It scraped the popcorn off and caught 98% of the droppings. I am glad I made the purchase.

Overall, it got the job done. The metal bent and had to keep straightening it back out. The bag gets heavy quick so you can only work in 2x2 area or it causes drag and extra strength to push. Stopping and dumping is time consuming. Will not use a bag next time.

I hate my popcorn ceilings and wanted to remove them. after watching several YouTube videos and buying this ceiling scraper I am able to do it myself. it is definitely a difficult job and I have a new respect for people that do this for a living. I would definitely recommend this product because it cuts down on the horrible mess that scraping popcorn ceiling makes. this ceiling scraper allows you to put a bag on it to catch the popcorn material coming off as you scrape it off the ceiling.
