Homax Premixed Orange Peel or Knockdown Wall Texture for use with Texture Gun and Hopper , 2.2 Liter

Adjusted spray gun settings on practice board then completed orange peel on almost 2 sheets of wallboard in about 4 minutes. Used one and one half 2.2L containers to get more than 80% coverage. I will use again on projects larger than a minor repair.

I've been using this product for about 12 years now. The only problem I have now is that it's not available locally. As I only waited for a few days by ordering on line the wait time was insignificant, although I ordered too much material thinking I didn't want to run short and don't know when I will use the rest. Hopefully the product will last several months as I don't forsee any immediate need for the remaining gal. I had ordered.

If you don't own a hopper and you have a big job this will work fine.

Done a great job! Texture was what I expected. My customer was very happy with the job.

I do love the look and I added my own looks by adding rose melody pink paint and silver glitter.

This works well with the adjustable-nozzle texture gun. It's easy to use. When the bottle is almost empty, hit the side of the bottle to get the last bit down into the gun. Simple!

We've done a bunch of remodeling on the houses we've purchased. We keep going back to the premixed Homax texture because of its consistency and dependability. Sure glad I found y'all's website. Hard to find y'all's product in the big box stores.

I have used the pre-mixed product before and was disappointed when I could not find it in the local Home Depot or Lowes store. I ordered it online and received it promptly. The product worked well as expected, but one container was not quite enough to finish the job. I decided to try to finish with one of the spray cans available at the local stores - BIG MISTAKE - that product is worthless and ruined the repair I had made. I had to scrape it all off and start over. I bought a box of the dry mix and used the container from the pre-mix as my hopper and it worked great and I had more than enough to do the job - I will always use that option in the future.

I had problems with spraying the orange peel texture. (1) The three bottles had to be thinned and stirred with a long rod (2) (the bottles didn't completely empty, a hard substance remained stuck to the bottoms (3) the three bottles covered an area less than one bottle is supposed to cover, so I have ordered five more bottles to finish the job of ceiling texturing, which has been delayed now for a week. I do like the appearance of the textured area. Finally, I think the bottles might have been frozen during delivery. The temperatures were well below zero during that time.
