Several people in my family have been cursed with arthritis! I have it in my knees, spine, shoulders, arms , neck and fingers! This massager has helped alleviate the pain that comes with arthritis for me as well as my family members. I use the flat instrument to work on my fingers in my Palms. The round ball instrument is best for my lower back shoulders arms etc. and the smaller instrument pinpoints on a pressure point such as the back of my neck. It is a wonderful little machine that I would recommend to others!
It has five intensities. The higher it is set the more intense the massage. Intensity five gives a very intense deep muscle massage. I started on intensity one, and ended on intensity two. The massager got rid of my knots, tightness, and spasms. It only stays on for fifteen minute intervals. It will turn right back on. I got four 15 minute sessions on one charge. I have a cord tower from Walmart with two USB ports. I did not need an adapter. I charged it overnight and it was ready in the morning.
Who needs a masseuse when you have the Homedics THERAPIST SELECT PRIME PERCUSSION MASSAGER. I sit at a computer for 10+ hours a day. My lower back gets stiff and achy. This little device has truly been a blessing. Just a few minutes and I have some relief. My son loves it as well. He plays football and also has muscle tightness in his back. Oh, and our cat loves it as well. She will lie there and we put it on the lowest setting and she is in heaven. Love that it charges with a USB and the different attachments included are awesome.
I wanted one of these MASSAGERS since I had the experience with one of those while having my physical therapy and I totally loved it! This feels so good! I had to have one! This HOMEDICS PERCUSSION MASSAGER arrived in a unmarked box and wasn't charged. The box includes the "gun", the ball tip, USB cable but not the square connecting part & the manual that's written in several languages English, Spanish, French. Follow the instructions is easy. Need to charge the MASSAGER for 5 hours straight the first time. There's a power button which also, works for selecting the level of intensity desired that you can see when the green light is turning on. Pretty easy to use it by yourself. Based on my personal experience I definitely recommend this WONDERFUL HOMEDICS PERCUSSION MASSAGER.
This massager is heavy duty. It's something a professional would use. You can tell this Homedics Massager is well made. I was so surprised at the heft of the massager and how strong of a massage it gives with each level (there's 5) massaging deeper than the last. I accused my husband of pressing down on the massager and he said he was just holding it, that's how deep it goes. Love the usb recharging cord that quickly charges it. You can wipe it clean easily enough. Even my dog loves it and now begs when he sees us getting the massager out.
This thing works! I have been achy and tired from having a rough cold and couldn’t wait to get this massager in and try it out. It’s packaged nicely so that things aren’t rolling around and getting roughed up so that was a plus. It already had a charge when I received it so I didn’t even have to wait to use it. Super easy to use, just press and hold to turn it on and see how much charge you have. Then press once again to start off with slow percussion, and keep pressing to change the speed of percussion. The only downside I found was the material of the ball keeps you from being able to slide it around easily, but at the same time, it keeps it able to put firm pressure in one spot. Easy enough to use and feels great. Would definitely recommend!
This massager works better than a typical vibrating massager. It doesn't have heat. It is not as strong as the percussion massager used by my chiropractor. It is wireless which is very convenient. It charges with a USB charger.
This massage gun is great at first I wasn’t sure how strong it would be I was pleasantly surprised at how strong it was on only the 1st and 2nd setting. The only thing that I disliked about the massage gun is that the top or head of the massage gun is like a foam ball that is not very smooth. It would’ve been much better if it was something made out of rubber or silicone so that way you could apply either lotion or massage gel to the site and then it would be a smoother massage it would it would also be better if it had different attachments as a ball seems to be better for the back, but it would be better to have something smaller or different for more direct massage. I would recommend this massage gun for in case of emergency, but I think that there might be better massage on this with different types of attachments that would be a better fit that are not made out of foam.
Homedics Therapist Select Prime Percussion Massage Gun Deep Tissue Massager works just fine and it's good at targeting spacific areas because it's designed to give the penetration massage therapy to needed areas on the body. It has four adjustable speeds from low to high. The downside is the battery doesn't stay charged along it depletes quickly within an hour or less on high massage level.
We were happy to try the Homedics Therapist Massager in exchange for our honest review. Our Homedics massager arrived fully charged which was nice, but we didn't know because no where in the instructions does it tell you how to tell it is fully charged. It comes with 3 different attachments, flat, ball and point (precision) and it has 5 different speed settings. We first tried the flat but found that the hard plastic was simply too painful to use. Next was the point which could be good if you have a small spot to work on. Finally we used the ball which is a sponge like material. The ball was the clear winner, what a pleasant massage it gives. It does come with a USB cord that is only about 18" long but no adapter to plug it into the wall. The instructions are very sparse with more warnings and cautions than instructions for use. If you are looking for a hand held massager then we would recommend this one as a starter to see how you like them. It is heavy so be aware of that, but the massage it gives with the ball attachment makes it worth trying.
