this shelf met expectations, sturdiness was better than I'd been concerned about for the price. I like a bamboo look in my bathroom, and tried this because it is so shallow and could fit in my smaller space. It has a nice shallow footprint to fit along a wall and the bamboo color and grain look really nice. building it was pretty standard for flat pack furniture. Pretty decent instructions.

I delayed putting this together for 5 mos because I have always run into problems with other brands: holes misplaced, warped wood, missing hardware, 2 ppl required, etc. I just put this beautiful shelf together all by myself. 45 min but only because I do it slow. Instructions created by someone who has actually done it/seen it IRL. Hardware -- complete Nothing warped, all holes perfectly placed and drilled. It looks great!!

It is easy to assemble, and the distance between shelves can be customized to your needs. I have purchased three of these at different times, and so far, I've had no issues.

I needed some shelving in my new place that would fit in a closet. I'm 5 foot 9 , and this is probably about 5 foot 6 tall put together. It's quite sturdy, surprisingly, and very nice looking. Trying to use their little tiny hex wrench was ridiculous to put this together. If you have a small drill or a ratchet screwdriver, you're much better off. It's kind of a pain to put together by yourself. If you have two people, that would be better. Just make it somebody you'll still be friends with afterwards. ;) That being said , i'm really glad I bought this.

Great quality, sturdy and very east to assemble! Will be ordering another to store my blankets.

Pretty sturdy and not very hard to put together. It's a bit narrower than I expected based on the product images, but still works well for me. The wood splinters a bit, though, because it came with some rougher parts (a few spots where a stick was raised), but not in a way that would damage books. Just be careful during the assembly.

I was looking for the right size shelf for a small space, and this one fits perfectly. It was really easy to assemble and is very sturdy. The color is perfect and looks upscale.

One issue, the allen's wrench that comes with the shelving unit is a joke, my small drill struggled as the wood is very hard, but when I switched to my large drill I sailed thru the assembly, it's about and hour's work to get it completed but well worth it. It is Gorgeous, Sturdy and the Perfect Dimensions for my needs, I absolutely love it, the wood is beautiful and a classy addition to any space.

I would not pay $99 for this item. I got it on sale for $50.
