The Hopkins Ice Chisel Scraper is a heavy duty windshield scraper with strong teeth on one side for breaking up thick ice and a flat scraper for thin ice. The handle is padded and easy to grip. The flat scraper side did not function well as received. The manufacturing process left ridges on the edge of the side that touches the windshield. This left only two narrow scrapes in the ice at the corners of the scraper. Carefully trimming the ridges off the business edge with a sharp utility knife produces a good scraper.

we haven't had any severe weather since I got this. it doesn't seem a lot different than the normal ice scrapers on a stick. I hope it works better than what I already had.

Used this scraper this morning...it was not good. It doesn't meet flush with the glass, no matter how you scrape or press...all I got was thin lines of scraping.
