Well the best thing is you get a hot meal in one minute. But it is more than that! HORMEL COMPLEATS are really good tasting. All of them taste great. They are all seasoned well and what is really good about them is that you don't have to put them in the refrigerator. They are priced low so people like me can afford to buy them. The Hormel company has been around for decades, and they have never disapointed me , and are always coming up with new dinner treats. Love them you will too!
I'm genuinely surprised by how much I enjoy this HORMEL COMPLEATS Chicken Breast with Gravy %26 Mashed Potatoes. The chicken is tender, and the mashed potatoes have a nice, smooth consistency that isn't watery at all. It's the perfect size for a warm lunch when I'm in a rush, and since it's shelf-stable, I can just keep a few in my desk for those days I forget my meal prep. Definitely a solid, easy go-to!
i get these for my mother who has dementia. They are super easy (1) minute to heat up and then enjoy. Sometimes the plastic is a little hard to peel back, but pretty tasty, and nutritious for a quick prepared meal. They do seem to have plenty of chicken / turkey to satisfy.
YUM! I love this meal! I've had this one before. You really don't know you're eating a prepared meal. It's that good. And perfect portion size for one person.
I like several of these Compleats products because they are quick to heat and have a very good flavor to them. In this particular case I got a new denture and needed something soft to chew that was nutritional as well.
One minute 15 seconds in the microwave if you got a meal good to eat, especially when you're hungry and don't have time to fix something. It's just so convenient.
Survival food. PROS: Long shelf life. Single serve. Easy to prepare with a microwave. Very affordable. Protein and no added sugar. CONS: Picture looked better than what's inside. Seed oil. Has taste but, not that great.
We have had different kinds of Compleats before and always good. Tried this and the chicken in this "Chicken breast mashed potatoes and gravy" came out of the microwave ORANGE. Tried cooking it another 30 seconds but still the same unappetizing color. It was tender; pulled apart with a spoon. Decided it wasn't worth the risk to taste it. Sad. Tried taking pictures but they didn't show the true color. It was much more orange than the pic shows.
This review has nothing to do with the actual food. I still would recommend Chicken with Gravy %26 Mashed Potatoes. The problem is that I ordered 6 online but received 3. The other 3 were Chicken %26 Dumplings. Yech! So, thanks to a Walmart employee who wasn't paying attention on the job, I paid for 3 that I won't eat.
The meat was so dry and had no flavor. It was super small and when it was gone there were watery potatoes and thin gravy with no flavor at all. I usually like these meals, but this one was terrible!!!!
