This drying rack is convenient for daily use as well as travel (for example - to hang dance costumes at shows and competitions). It is sturdy and holds several items at a time. I use it to dry the garments that I don't want to dry completely in dryer.
I had been debating about ordering this for a couple of months. Then I saw one on QVC and it cost much more. That is what made me decide on ordering it at Walmart. It was delievered quickly & since I had it delievered to the store, I did not have to pay for shipping. Good quality. Easy to put together and is very strudy. I would recommend ordering from Walmart on line to anyone.
Wonderful for drip drying clothes. Fits in my bathtub, holds about 18 items if you balance the weight on all three arms, and folds up for storage. One caveat - do not try to move it with all the wet clothes on it - take the clothes off first!
I purchased this item to display shoulder bags for my home business, and it's perfect for this. I do home parties and vendor shows, and hang my bags on it. Lightweight, compact to transport, and very easy to open and close.
I live in an apartment without a laundry room. I like to hang some of my clothes directly out of the dryer, so this hanging tree works perfectly. It collapses for easy storage and sets up easily also.
I was looking for something to simplify my ironing routine and this product filled the bill! And even better, it stands in the corner of my, already full coat closet, with ease. Now I almost enjoy ironing...almost.
I love this 3-arm standing clothes dryer! I have a lot of tops that I wash but don't dry in the dryer, and this was the perfect solution. You just hang your clothing on hangers and place on the 3-arm stand in a discreet place (mine is in the spare bathroom bathtub behind the shower curtain and kind of forget about it until you need a top.) Very simple and space smart! I would recommend this product; I'm so glad my husband bought it for me a few years ago and I just got it as a gift for my married daughter who hangs her "wash" on her dining room chairs :- )
I read a lot of reviews and many said the Household Essentials 3-Arm Free Standing Dryer wouldn't hold a lot of clothes; it tilts, broke, etc. Hypothetically thinking, if a person have a scale w/two ends, picture balancing that scale. If you put 10 light items on one side of the scale and 5 slightly heavier items on the other side of the scale, the scale will tilt because one side weighs more than the other side. Consequently, the same scenario for this product. Wet clothes are heavier than dry clothes. If I am hanging wet clothes, I would be conscious of the weight on each arm. Hanging dry clothes, I would still be conscious of the weight; however, I probably would be able to hang more dry clothes than wet clothes. Personally, I would be very cautious about hanging items such as heavy coats/jackets or blankets on it. Besides, I do not believe it was designed for those types of weighty items anyway.
I bought it to hang out my three kids winter gear. It works very well for my purpose. It's a functional item, and not designed to blend much with the furniture. It does get a bit unstable if you don't hang the clothes evenly on all arms. Make sure you put weight evenly on all arms or it may tip over. It fold up easily into a small size piece (size of a fire log) for storage.
I was pleasantly surprised by this drying rack. It's sturdier than I expected, given that it was very inexpensive. My husband set it up while I was out and he said it was easy to assemble. I haven't tried to fold it back up for storage, yet, because I use it all the time. It's supposed to hold up to 36 garments, but I can see that only if they are thin garments on wire hangers. Nevertheless, I am pleased and would recommend this to anyone looking for a space-saving indoor drying option.
