H&R Block Tax Software Deluxe + State 2025 for Windows and Mac (Digital Download)

I've been a customer for more than 15 years, and I will continue in the future. I like th program's pulling in last years items to go into the next years start of filing. One problem that I have is related to the "Data Check". The check is wonderful, but there are times that I fix the problem, or respond that it is all right the way it is, or make a change on the spot, but it keeps coming back as a possible error every time that I do the final check.

I am a long time user of H&R Software. I have always been very satisfied with the product. I especially appreciate all the explanatory information that comes with items that I would otherwise not understand and have to research. I am always very comfortable with the return I send to IRS.

Good for mid-level complexity. Some questions you are told to fill in the answer on your own after doing a manual form from IRS. Have used the software for nearly 20 years. Overall like it. But if you have a K-1 or unusual complexity expect to do some research on your own.

I was happy with the federal return and completed with no problems. However, the Missouri State return was unable to complete properly because the form had no way of adding the deduction of Real Estate taxes paid in the state of Missouri without printing and Mailing in the Tax return. Why was that a problem? Please explain!

I fought this thing for hours, ran out of downloads, had to buy a second copy, all because you didn't clearly include the fact that I had to turn off my threat protection for it to load. How you could not have that key fact clearly included is gross negligent. Have used you people for years for multiple annual filings, but will be real iffy next year. Really disapointed such a key step not made very clear.

We have been buying the same product for years and generally have been satisfied. Although we were able to finish and file our returns, it took much longer than it should have because of two issues. First, there was a glitch in the section to report % of dividends from U.S. Treasury obligations. If the checkbox is NOT CHECKED but there is accidentally an amount in the % box on the next screen, it will still calculate a figure. The second issue had to do with entering an market discount adjustment in the interest income section. A message popped up that indicated we needed to report the interest but not how. The AI help file was useless. There were no instructions and not a logical pathway to guide us on how make the entry. It was only after a lot of hit and miss attempts did we figure it out. We literally wasted about 4 hours tracking down these issues. Bottom line, the software has been good for us over the years but this year, we were a little let down.

Fare warning .. HR Block likes to double charge for all thier products so if you need state taxes from a second state make sure you watch your bank statements and contact the bank fraud department to get your money back if you are double charge because HR Block wont do anything to help you.

The fact that I couldn't download my financial information from Chase was a real letdown. i had to enter everything by hand. I recently helped a relative do there taxes and they were able to download information from Chase using your competitors tax software.

Dear Walmart Agent. Honestly, I am not pleased with the zero information provided of how to download the app or when. I still do not know if the app was sent to me or will be sent to me or what. Could you please tell me where things stand? Thanks a bunch. Stay well

I have been using the program for years HOWEVER this year I was NOT informed that I MUST use direct deposit to receive my refund. Since I requested a check I am having to jump through hoops in an attempt to get my money. There was a 2025 executive order requiring direct deposit with only a few exceptions and I would have expected the program to inform me of this not just warn me that it would take longer
