[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never tried the HTH Spa pH Up product, so I was excited to test this product out of my hot tub. This product claims to help balance how acidic or basic the spa water is and improves both water quality and comfort. It is also suppose to help prevent corrosion of spa surfaces as well and reduce skin and eye irritation. I believe that this product did that after a few uses. I was able to feel a difference when it came to using this product. I didn't experience any eye irritation when I used this product with my hot tub. The HTH contains mineral crystals, which is formulated to provide a more relaxing spa experience. I also love that this product is compatible with all spas. Personally, this product worked fast, and it exceeded my expectations. It dissolves well, and I feel like this product is great for families with a spa or hot tub. All in all, I enjoyed using this product, the HTH Spa pH up, and I would highly recommend this product to my family and friends.

We've been experiencing lower than normal pH levels and I needed a solution. This option from HTH helps to prevent corrosion and improves sanitizer effectiveness. There's a great table on the package to help you determine how much to add based on the pH you're currently at and what you need to get your tub up to! This is a must for anyone who has a spa they want to keep in great shape to enjoy for years to come!

Works for its intended purpose, but it feels like dosing required is way more than labeled. Obviously start with the dose listed, measure, then test again unless you want to have to add ph down. BUT. From usage, it seems like doubling the dose is a safe bet. I wish they'd list grams or ounces instead of tbs as a measurement...

I have a Taylor test kit that I regularly use to test my spa. I got these to hopefully have a quicker option for when I'm short on time or for regular maintenance throughout the week. I understood that test strips were less accurate but hoped to get in the ballpark of the actual values. I tested a few strips against my known levels and only the Free Chlorine level was remotely close. All other levels were wildly off and showed that my levels were outside of ideal levels. If someone relies on these strips to adjust their levels, their spa will not be balanced properly. I put two stars instead of one because I may still be able to use these just to quickly test the chlorine levels.
