Bike is substantial and solidly built. Great setup, colors, tires and kickstand. Had an issue with the front derailleur somehow got 'injured' in shipping or prior-to, but Huffy is sending me a replacement part for free. I had it shipped to store and put it together myself (easy). It was packaged very well so not sure what happened to the derailleur. Really like the bike so far, even the seat is good and with all the shock absorbers it will be alot of fun off-roading once the snow melts. This is the 26" model which to me seems very substantial and solidly built to last. Is as cool as pictured on the Walmart website. Huffy rocks - thanks Walmart!
I love mine. rode about 5 times. built nice. I purchased a seat cushion and rack 4 mine
It is very good. Many components have been assemblied. I have purchased very few tools to fix srews assembling it. But the brates are too tight and I adjusted them by myself. In a word, it is wonderful. Thanks!
I purchased a few weeks ago just in time for the nice weather and have only gotten a few rides out of her so far, but she rides as beautifully as she looks! I love the colors and how smooth she rides and everything functions exactly as it should with no problems so far. My ONLY complaint would be that the seat does get uncomfortable, but that's nothing new with most bikes if not all, and is only a slight inconvenience to me personally, not a big deal. Overall, I love my bike! Can't wait to get more use out of it this summer. Definitely recommend.
Everything about this bike is amazing. My favorite thing though is the suspension. When going on a bump, I dont feel anything just a little bounce. The brakes are extremely safe. The bike was assembled very neatly, diligently and carefully. I just love this bike!
I purchased this bike a few weeks ago. I haven't had too much of an issue out of this bike. It seems to be pretty sturdy. Everything works fine. I'm 5'1-5'2 and I take this bike to ride around the park. I've enjoyed the smooth rides. It's appealing and easy to handle. I even got a compliment on it. Removing the front tire hasn't been too much of a challenge when using a bike wrench so I'm able to fit it in my car. The main 2 issues are the discomfort of the seat after riding and the squeaking brakes. I will be ordering a memory foam gel seat and I was told to oil the brakes to cut out the loud squeaking which is an issue I think Huffy needs to address. Other than that, this bike has been nice to ride.
I got this bike a few months back...just wanted to grab something pretty and on a wimb at that..wanted to just have something to ride for exercise, though the bike rides great, the seat is absolutly horrible. You ride for more than 15 min or so...it's hard..and breaks are a bit squeaky, other than that going over a bump is barly noticeable with the suspension. I would recommend with a seat cover lol.
I picked this up today on a whim so I could go bike riding along side my daughter and I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked it after I rode it once alone on a trail and later in the day around the neighborhood with her. The dual suspension is probably the best thing about the bike. I barely felt the hard impact of going over bumps and uneven pavement. The brakes are solid. I did hear some squeaking initially when I shifted gears but nothing too serious. My only gripe is the seat. While it looks pretty cool it is very uncomfortable and hard (however, I did lookup the reviews while I was in-store and read that beforehand from the majority of the reviews on the same model in a different color and still took a chance). I will be getting a cushion cover or a new seat at some point. But otherwise I'm pleased with my purchase especially for the price and the Huffy name. I had a Huffy bike growing up and I'm happy I stuck with them.
Nice bike for my wife but after storing it inside in the dry for 4-5 months we have found every piece of unpainted metal has got rust over it. Never had this happen to a bike before, contacted Huffy who claim they only cover for 6 months so won't do anything. Nice of them, even a brake cable has rust on it, terrible should never happen like that.
Bought this bike about a week ago. The first ride was fun however the seat is incredibly uncomfortable. After some adjustment it became slightly more comfortable but still need to upgrade. I was fine with that (it was 99$ of course it won't be a "Lexus" bike) but the label on the bike said fits riders up to 5"10 and at 5"7 1/2 I cannot extend the seat high enough to allow for the correct extension of my leg when pedaling. All of this I would forgive but as I put the bike in the garage today the kickstand completely fell off. The bike was purchased assembled so I can't even blame it on me not knowing how to put a bike together. Three bike rides all less than 20 minutes and something breaks??? Yea definitely won't be buying a cheap bike like this again. Better to save up for better quality.
