Bike is substantial and solidly built. Great setup, colors, tires and kickstand. Had an issue with the front derailleur somehow got 'injured' in shipping or prior-to, but Huffy is sending me a replacement part for free. I had it shipped to store and put it together myself (easy). It was packaged very well so not sure what happened to the derailleur. Really like the bike so far, even the seat is good and with all the shock absorbers it will be alot of fun off-roading once the snow melts. This is the 26" model which to me seems very substantial and solidly built to last. Is as cool as pictured on the Walmart website. Huffy rocks - thanks Walmart!
I love mine. rode about 5 times. built nice. I purchased a seat cushion and rack 4 mine
It is very good. Many components have been assemblied. I have purchased very few tools to fix srews assembling it. But the brates are too tight and I adjusted them by myself. In a word, it is wonderful. Thanks!
Everything about this bike is amazing. My favorite thing though is the suspension. When going on a bump, I dont feel anything just a little bounce. The brakes are extremely safe. The bike was assembled very neatly, diligently and carefully. I just love this bike!
I just purchased this bike and I am very pleased. It rides smooth. The breaks work well without jerking also. Im 5'4 and 155lbs and this is the perfect size for me to ride comfortably. It shifts gears easily and I like that you can hve a variety of resistance since I use this for wvery day workout rides. I would recommend this if you are looking for something casual at a great price.
Huffy lived up to its name and reputation with this bike. Bike came already assembled from local Wal-Mart I"m a 33 year old mom of two, i got this bike to accompany the kids when they are on their bikes. I also have a herniated disc and this bike definitely helps with this. The dual suspension and shocks help with that. I rode it today to the store with the girls' and it was a comfortable, smooth, and fun ride. I also ordered a cushioned seat cover (which hasn't arrived yet) to put on the seat when i take it on long exercise trips. Only cons are: the brakes do squeal and minor squeakiness when riding. But these are no deal breakers for me....
I LOVE this bike! I've had it out around town a few times now and it rides and handles beautifully. The twist shifters for the 18 speeds on the handle bars work great and brakes work great. Hand grips are very comfortable. Seat isn't super comfy, but not bad for a couple of hours around town. However, I am a 5'6" almost 300# female and I have not had any issues with the bike components, seat, or frame at all. The wheels are 36 spokes which certainly helps greatly with my "fluffiness". Overall, I would recommend this bike to anyone looking for an affordable and fun way to shed excess weight.
The bike is comfortable with the dual suspension, changed the seat to a saddle seat. What really stinks is that there is no room for a water bottle holder nor anywhere to put it as the cables to the brakes and gears are over the top bar where you would normally put one. Really bad design flaw. You have to resort to a hydro-pack which can be hot/sweaty and uncomfortable at times.
Bought this bike about a week ago. The first ride was fun however the seat is incredibly uncomfortable. After some adjustment it became slightly more comfortable but still need to upgrade. I was fine with that (it was 99$ of course it won't be a "Lexus" bike) but the label on the bike said fits riders up to 5"10 and at 5"7 1/2 I cannot extend the seat high enough to allow for the correct extension of my leg when pedaling. All of this I would forgive but as I put the bike in the garage today the kickstand completely fell off. The bike was purchased assembled so I can't even blame it on me not knowing how to put a bike together. Three bike rides all less than 20 minutes and something breaks??? Yea definitely won't be buying a cheap bike like this again. Better to save up for better quality.
I bought this bike on 9/10/17 and returned the next day due to what I thought was a assembly issue by Walmart. The guard that moves the chain when selecting gears got caught in the chain sprocket. Got another of this bike on 9/11. When I was able to go out riding again a few days later, I found the pedals kept clicking on each round and the wheels were warped. The brakes were hitting one spot on the wheels. You could see when the tires were spinning there was a slight bend in both wheels causing wear on the brake. It's a decent price but not worth the problems. I ended up spending more money to get a Schwinn instead.
