I purchased it in February 2017. I used till I felt better and now my wife is using it while she recovers from knee replacement. Today (7/28/2019) we were leaving to go to a picnic my wife came out to get into our vehicle and she forgot to put the cane inside the vehicle. When we got back home (3 hours later) it was still standing where she left it. It was windy outside but it stayed upright.
This is my second one! I bought my last one over 10 years ago and I loved it and have taken it everywhere! So when it finally broke, I knew that I just had to order a new one! Walking with it might take a few minutes to for you to slightly adjust your stride from a regular can but otherwise it's fine! It doesn't, however, stand up on by itself as well as some marketing purports!
19 years old and already need one. Was very self conscious about needing a cane. I got the pink one and it has helped me so much already
HURRY CANE should be HURRICANE manuerable with so much easier navigation Have the other - with larger base -get rid of it - this is the one that really will speed you up it is a HURRICANE -You need it in Florida LOL
The product is sturdy %26 well made. It will last forever due to the fact that my mother had hers for thirty years or more during her life-time (89). Her HurryCane was passed on to me February 2015. I retired hers in the year March 2026 and bought my own HurryCane. It seems to be better stronger with a larger grip. I love my HurryCane.
I purchased a couple of the canes as gifts to my parents (79 and 80 this year) and they cautiously adopted them for use. After one day of use, they raved about how stable they are, the fact that they stand up in-and-of themselves so they don't have to "drape" or "hang" them from something, how they adjust to whatever angle of approach they traverse while giving them a "grippy" broader contact/surface area....and, finally how quiet they are on hard surfaces (like tile or hardwood floors). Overall, the HURRYCANE's have been a hit. Thanks for a great product!
The foot pads on the bottom are half the size of the HurryCane I ordered a month ago. Around in the house they may be OK but is not secure when walking out in the grass or in the yard.
The Hurrycane folding cane is sturdry ans easy supourts my plus size body.I like how easy it is to fold and fit in my bag. This cane is constantly falling over,on both hard and soft surfaces when im not walkng with it mak8ng it a tripping hassard
I have one I purchased about 7 years ago that has the triangle foot leg. It is so much easier to use and the triangle one stores on my walker easier. I really don't like this new one. I needed a second one thinking all hurricanes would be alike but when you use them you realize they are not as good quality.
They changed the design base design. This is my third set of two I have bought in last 10 years. I have loved these cans. I received my new set and was super excited. The three prong base is a screw on. always has been. first day I used them and they gradually unscrewed with use. second day I asked someone with stronger grip tighten them. still came undone with use. I almost fell when the base fully unscrewed off without me noticing. I finally had the maintenance glue the solid. I will not buy another one.
