Love this thing!
This was exactly what I needed to help keep my pool clean. Easy to put in %26 no leaks definitely a must have if you own an above ground pool.

Two person job
My first effort took quite a bit longer than I expected. I was replacing a cracked wide mouth skimmer on my 26' round above ground pool. By myself I found it a challenge to get it installed but I finally did. Once everything was hooked up and the pool pump turned on, the connection between the skimmer housing and the wide mouth extension leaked at the bottom of where the pieces meet. The gasket for that connection has 16 screw holes, but the instructions give you only 4 shorter screws for this connection. I'm guessing water that reached the gasket got through one or more of those holes and that was the source of the leak. Today I bought some 3M marine sealant that I plan to use around the gasket and in the 12 unused holes. Wish me luck. The skimmer itself is solid, not flimsy at all.
