So far this Sand filter pump has run great we have had no problems with it and I think it cleans the pool much better than the regular pump we had by Intex that wasn't even lasting through the summer so right now we are really enjoying the sand filter pump thanks Intex for making such a great product

Using it on a 1000-gallon stock tank pool ,had a smaller used intex pump which worked very well, but decided to go larger to circulate water at a faster rate.

We live in the country and have iron in our water. It always takes several days to a week to clear the pool along with a hillbilly filter added to it. I thought I would try this bigger, sand filter and see if it helped. I hooked it up, added the chemicals and turned it on. I was very impressed with the power and quietness of the filter. You will need 2- 50lb bags of sand to fill it past the minimum point. The filter started right up. I was impressed with the power of the flow coming out of it. The current nearly reached across the emtire 18ft pool. I did not hook up my hillbilly filter just to see how the new intex filter did first. I came back outside 3 hours later and the water was nearly clear!!!!! I couldnt believe it! After 5 hours of use, its almost perfect! I am so impressed and happy with my purchase!! I would highly recommend!!!

My pool is 22' round and 53" deep. This pump has plenty of power to keep the water filtered and clear. I run mine non-stop from pool open to close, so the end of May until mid-September. I had to replace my last one (same model) in July because the control panel broke so i couldn't turn it on or off. It's a terrific pump.

I wish I had bought this pump a month ago! Replaced the original small pump this pump moves the water really well. I'm using filter balls instead of sand and so far this pump has been an excellent upgrade!

We researched and hunted everywhere for a better quality pump for 15 foot intex pool. This was the only one in stock at the lowest price I could find. Once we figured out how to properly hook it up it worked great and barely had to use chemicals for our pool for the rest of summer. The directions are horrible on intex products so I recommend looking up tutorials on YouTube! We missed one piece and the sand leaked into the pool for weeks until we figured it out. In the end this worked so much better than the small pump included with the pool.

This is an upgrade from my 12 in intex pump and this does the trick!! It was plug and play from my other pump so I was ready to go in minutes!! The price was compatible to that on Amazon however Amazon keep going up on the price so I grabbed this on Walmart

New to pool ownership and maintenance. We have a Coleman Powersteel 18 foot pool from Walmart and while it is a very well-made pool, the filter is just too small. We found this filter for $150 and what a difference it has made in keeping the pool clean! You can see it working. I still skim it just about every day and brush it weekly and the pool looks fantastic and chemicals seem to last longer. It is quiet and I love the timer. I run it about 6 hours everyday. I would not hesitate on getting this filter. You will need a 50lb bag of pool sand from the hardware store. Costs less than $15.

Hole in hose but already had set up with sand and didn’t want to do the work to return. They could send a hose to replace but gave a small refund that doesn’t cover the cost of a new one.

I wouldn't recommend this seller, Spreetail. I ordered a pool pump and got a big roll of weed barrier for landscaping. And now it's a hassle to get my refund. Also had to return to FedEx which is 45 min from my home. 🙁🙁
