Hyper Tough 12V Max* Lithium-Ion Cordless Brushless Impact Driver with 1.5Ah Battery and Charger, Model 98809

Have had the 12v impact driver for over 6 months now and can honestly say I've been quite impressed by it. I would highly recommend snagging a couple 6Ah batteries if you'll be buying more 12v tools - they provide a significant bump in power and battery life. Have used this for removing blades on my mower to sharpen, mounting various items in my garage/in the house, driving fasteners, etc. For the price and size of the driver it puts out a good amount of power, plenty of torque. If you are looking to get into a 12v line hypertough it's a great value option, especially when you can get 6Ah batteries for under 50 and 4Ah for 30. Definitely would recommend

I normally don't leave reviews but, in this case I had to. I was looking for a 12v impact that I could use in small spaces, on delicate work and that didn't cost a lot. I came across this item by accident and decided to give it a try. I have to say that this little impact has gone far past my expectations. So much so that I am thinking of trying other tool by Hyper Tough. Keep up the good work Hyper Tough.👍🏾

Love this impact driver. Its quite nice for what it is, but would highly recommend using the 4AH or 6AH battery for it. The 1.5 AH battery and charger that comes with it is something I don't favor. The size of it is similar to being a sub-compact, but the weight alone is very good, even with the 6AH on it. The torque is for than enough for this little guy, believe it was tested to be 152 ft-lbs after quite some time impacting. It is very simple to use and understand, a baby could do it. The light stays on after pulling the trigger, and it has a battery indicator which is very nice. Belt clip is fine but I would suggest putting some blue threadlocker on it. Overall, very good for the price.

I have multiple 20v cordless versions and although not as powerful being 12v it has more than enough power to accomplish the majority of tasks. I have recently purchased 4 of the hyper tough 12v tools and for the price, weight, and ergonomics they are hard to beat. If you have doubts watch YouTube videos comparing these with Milwaukee brand 12v tools remembering you can buy 3 of these for the price of 1 of the other.

I work for a korean car dealership, and I use this impact driver everyday. Does a great job at work under the hood and inside the car. The 1.5 Ah battery isnt as bad as youtibe reviews make it seem but honesty hyper tough should just make the 2.0 Ah battery standard and be rid of the 1.5 Ah. Save some money and improve the product.

Came in with reasonable expectations, was not expecting a professional grade tool but something for light duty. This driver has exceeded my expectations, battery lasts long and the available 4AH makes short work of very tight bolts. Have been using it to strip a motorcycle frame and it hasn't failed me yet, together with other 12v tools I put together a decent tool set with fast charger for under $200. If you're not working in a shop 12 hours a day this will probably do whatever you ask of it and then some.

Nice almost comparable to an M12 (on sale) brushless (less weight but not for everyday use) but 1/2 the price. Trump tariffs caused Walmart to raise their price about $12 more from last week. Buy on sale only as the price is equal to a brushed Milwaukee.

I this this the right tool for a specific person. It wasn't for me, but not because it didn't perform at a basic level. What ultimately turned me off was the lack of speed settings combined with a trigger that didn't operate smoothly. This made it difficult to limit the speed and avoid stripping screw heads. Additionally it took quickly went instantly into impact mode when driving any screw. The M12 will only enter impact towards the end. The build quality is good and the form was perfect for a compact 12v tool. Overall value is good unless you factor in the insanely slow included charger. You really need to spend $20 more on the "fast" charger. this places the tool at about $70. This narrows the gap between this tool and others.
