Hyper Tough Car Door Step, Black

I've only used this a couple of times but it seems to work exactly as expected. It is all metal except for a rubber bumper that protects the car. It feels really sturdy and folds up fairly small. I wish there was a cutout so the hook folded entirely flat, but for a third of the cost of the original I'm happy with this.

Tried it with my SUV. Put one leg on it to get to top of car. Seems sturdy and the rubber cover prevents it from scratching car body. Can't speak to durability.

This is great for helping us access the top of our SUV. It only takes a second to attach to the door and it is so steady. I have no worries about falling or it coming loose. The max weight is 300 lbs so me or my husband can use it. It is also small enough that we can put it in the glove box when we don't need it.

I recently put a rooftop rack on my car and ever since I have struggled to figure out how to actually get up there. I try to balance myself as best I can while keeping both hands free to put the things on the roof that need to go onto the roof. This car door step makes it so much easier. I feel very secure when using it and it gives me just the boost that I need to put items onto the rooftop carrying rack.

Super quick fast and easy to use and allows you to get up where you need too be above the car so you can easily adjust and tighten straps or too easily get something out of roof carrier:) good for up too 300 pounds and is universal use for almost any kind if car:)

This design is simple yet incredibly useful when needed. While you may not use it every day, there will be occasions where it proves invaluable. It's exceptionally sturdy and extremely easy to use. I found it particularly helpful for reaching the top of my SUV.

Great product that really made cleaning the sunroof glass much easier to reach. It was extremely easy to understand how to operate. This step is heavy and you can tell made of quality material and I really like the rubber backing to prevent any markings on the car. I would have liked the step to be slightly bigger, but it was adequate. Overall I was very happy with this purchase and will be buying more for gifts.

I didn't know that things like this existed. Very handy and useful. I have a mini SUV that I hooked it up and stepped on it and it supported my weight and it was very sturdy., I was easily able to reach the top of the roof. And since it's easy to connect and disconnect it just hooks on the little latch on the inside of the door, super simple to move around the car. it has some heft to it, but it's very small form, easy to store in the trunk.

This is a genius tool for the car! It gave me quick and easy access to the roof of my husband's SUV, which I would not be able to reach otherwise. the rubber edges protected the paint inside the car door so it did not scratch the car. It was stable and didn't move when I used it for a step. The only thing that would make it better would be for a slightly larger or longer step platform for a little more ease and stability. As it was, the ball and toe of my foot were able to stand on it but a longer platform would have made it feel safer.
