This siphon pump is great for transferring liquids under the right circumstances. This pump will ONLY work if you are transferring a liquid to a lower location. The container where the liquid is originally placed must be above the container where the liquid will be moved to. This is because the action of this pump is mainly driven by gravity. So you cannot transfer a liquid to a location that is above the original container. The rubber bulb is only used to initiate the pump action. Gravity will then keep the liquid flowing until it runs out. The tubing is made of transparent plastic which allows you to see the liquid while it is transferring. This pump would be a good choice if you are transferring a volatile liquid such as gasoline. The reason being that this pump does not use electricity, which could be problematic and dangerous when transferring flammable liquids. I made a flow rate measurement and found that at a height difference of 18 inches, this pump produces a flow rate of 917mL/min (approx.), which is about 4 minutes per gallon. The larger the height difference, the faster the flow rate. To use this pump you must insert one end into the liquid to be transferred, and place your finger on the other end. You must make sure that the end that you entered into the liquid reaches the bottom of the container. Then, squeeze the bulb 2 or 3 times, to start the liquid flow. When done correctly, the liquid will now flow continuously, until it runs out, at around the rate of 4 minutes per gallon at 18 inches of elevation, and faster at higher elevation and slower at lower elevation. The back of the box has instructions on how to use and Warnings, in both English and Spanish. It is well written in box languages.

Fuel pump on my 03 Yukon went out again after only 6-800 miles and broke down at a motel and needed to siphon my 1/2 full fuel tank in a pinch. I've siphoned using my mouth in years past but nope, not this time! Scoured the internet for fast, cheap and purposeful, saw the reciews and pulled the trigger. My only complaint though is the hose could be a foot longer on both ends. My truck was already jacked up 16 some inches but with dropping the fuel tank and having a 10 gallon emergency jug, gravity didn't help much after i finally snaked the suction tube into the tank with what 2ft of curled hose? hose diameter could also be a tad bigger like 5/16ths or 3/8ths but all in all...this siphon pump did work as intended. Oh yeah, if you plan on purchasing this with the intention to put directly into the gas cap where you add fuel, don't. For one, suction hose isn't long enough to get to most vehicles gas tank and for two, the hoses are much to soft and will jam before hitting the fuel tank, let alone get past the fuel filler flap thingie. Best go to Oriellys or Autozone and pick up pfte tubing that you can have custom cut and suck out the fuel.

This review is for the product, "Hyper Tough" Siphon Pump. Let me first start off with, I Love this Siphon Pump!! It is very easy to use and works like a charm. It is a really well made item. You have 2 clear plastic tubes that both fit on each end of the black bulb. The short tube is 29 inches long and the long tube is 43 inches long. These clear tubes are very flexible and easy to use. You will be using the long clear tube to siphon with. I guided this long tube easily in to the container without any fuss. The black bulb is very flexible as well, and it fits in the palm of your hand really well and that makes for an easy task of squeezing. I gave this black bulb 2 to 3 squeezes and the liquid flowed through the tubes and the pump with ease. This is a great little item to have and I would highly recommend this product, as it works really well and is easy to use. A very well made product! All in all, it gets the job done easily! You won't go wrong buying this item!

If someone had a need for a syphon hose, for plants or small things, I think this might be ideal. If was not the best choice for what I needed, so returned it. If you had over watered a potted plant, I'm sure this would just the right device to fix it.

Item arrived with both hoses pinched and apparently permanently reduced flow ability. Tried to siphon with it but was not successful. Other than those problems it actually appears to be fairly well-made, and looks like it would work. I was disappointed.

Rashida substituted items and I never asked to have items substituted. Now I have to return items and get credits. I don't think Rashida understands English. If an item is not available don't get something else just to fill order. She should not get very much for a tip.

Absolute GARBAGE . Do not buy this item, Does not work, Cheaply made, I could not even take it use it manually after taking it apart. Spend the extra couple of bucks, you will thank me for it.

This is very difficult to work with and when you do get it started it comes out very slow even though I had the container I was siphon it too at least 2 feet lower and it will stop if you don't keep pumping it. would not recommend it.

Simply the worst purchase Ibhave made through Warlmart. Pump is poor no suction. The hose was slighty damaged in packaging by being bent to fit inside.

picture shows hose but didnt get in my order all i got was the bulb and very unsatisfied with that order.......terrible
