Hyper Tough Multi Grade Assorted Steel Wool Pads, 12-Pack, Model 2148

Today I received my order, hyper tough multi grade assorted steel wool pads 12 pack, shown in the picture. This product will be my first time using it, but I like the quality of the material and the pack size and the amazing part is the price is very affordable.

This is exactly what I was looking for to clean my garden tools before the season starts. It's great to have assorted grit numbers in the same package so I didn't have to buy one of each. .

When use for this is to shove around your dishwasher, water lines, it will keep them mice and rats from chewing through those lines. We also use it before or after sandpaper on jobs.

This is the first time I've seen a variety pack of these, really handy.

* Steel wool has been a multipurpose tool in my household. We have used it for removing old paint and varnish, stubborn stains, polish surfaces, cleaning fittings, and even to deter mice from reentering our garage. My husband likes to flip cars so occasionally we get a vehicle in less than stellar condition. Sometimes he has to clean out the engine or other various parts so the steel wool comes in handy for that. As far as being a solution for mice, we live in an old house and had some crevices in our garage where baseboards and such didn't meet up. A neighbor told us to try using steel wool because the mice cannot chew through it. This steel wool comes in rolls (and is actually quite soft!). We cut it to wedge in the crevices before. We had a few mice show up trying to find a new way to get in/out, after using it and putting down some other deterrents. Thankfully, we haven’t seen any mice or traces of them since! This steel wool comes in a pack of 12 with various textures. It includes super fine, medium, and course. We have actually used a few of each texture for the different things so I do recommend the variety pack if you need it for different types of jobs or even to stock up on basic supplies.

Great product, can't be without steel wool pads, love the variety, use for so many different tasks around the house!

Item was used to clean light to heavy rust off of hand tools and other such items, and it performed the task without issue.
