I have only used this once, but I already love it! I made frozen Mai Tai's and they were delicious. I will have to work on the recipe a bit, as they were a little less set than I wanted. I liked the smooth consistency of the results and it's quite easy to use. The machine is also fairly quiet. I can't wait to try some more recipes.

Easy to set up %26 use. Be sure to read the troubleshooting instructions in the sidebar of the machine. Adding water helps with getting to the correct consistency for all types.

Love it. I scored this at half price to add to the best purchase. The self cleaning mode is nice but don’t expect it to be clean clean. Easy to dismantle for better cleaning though!

This is a large, and heavy duty machine. It would’ve been a five star product, but I did not find out until reading the instructions, that kind of soda (or whatever liquid is put in) has to have REAL sugar (not artificial sweeteners) in that liquid for the mixer to function properly. Diet drink’s will not work. Instead of slushing, the liquid freezes up and stops the roller completely. Also, normal soda tastes just, OK. There is a need to put a small amount of flavored syrup in there as well. The thickening of the flavoring and the correct temperature will make that “store bought” slushy flavor that you’re looking for. Mixing liquor cocktails is much simpler. (Yay!) WORTH MENTIONING : this slushy maker will hold an entire liter of soft drink. Once you get all the tricks figured out, most delicious this!!!

Overall its a really nice machine IF you do not drink just sugar free drinks. I did not see anywhere in the description that this could not be used with sugar free drinks. So I tried it and it made a horrible noise. After troubleshooting, I found in the directions where it said sugar was important part of the freezing and there was only one type of sugar free syrup that worked with this machine. I cant say for the price of this machine that I would keep it if it doesn't make sugar free slushies.

We bought this at the Black Friday sale 2025 for our family for Christmas. It takes a lot longer to freeze than it said it would in the manual and then, suddenly, it would be so frozen you couldn't get the slush out. After a couple of months of weekly use, a couple times a week, th machine started to make a banging sound while freezing. We noticed shortly afterwards that the clear plastic on the inside of the reservoir was being worn away by something rubbing against it. I double and triple checked, made sure everything was installed correctly, assuming we'd gotten lazy with putting it together the right way. Everything was perfect. We clean it exactly as per the directions after every use. After a month or two of not using the machine, I went to use it two days ago. After ten minutes, the motor stopped rotating. The fan was still blowing, but it seemed stuck. I turned it off and let it thaw thinking we put the thickness too high. About an hour later, we tried again with the thickness much lower, but the same thing happened. My husband removed the reservoir and found ice so thick it was jamming the machine. We haven't been able to use it. I decided to get this machine because it was a lot cheaper than the Ninja model though it didn't have all the features we were hoping for. But I'm wishing I bought the Ninja now instead. Adding another $100 is cheaper than having to replace your cheaper machine every year.

An ice block formed when using. I thought it was an isolated incident. The next time it was used an ice block formed again. It was used three times total with two having negative incidents.
