I really like that I got such a great deal on it thru the Today site. The $65 i paid for it I think was the perfect price for the ice maker instead of the suggested $129.. I also like that I got to chose a color I like (red) and match my other appliances. Makes perfect bullet size ice cubes and works as described. Helpful guide and some helpful tips on how to use. Only thing I could see being improved is the water tank drain on the bottom can be a bit of a messy thing to get open. Even though the made ice basket area isn't refrigerated, they stay frozen right up to the level of the basket being full. The automatic shut off when the basket is full is super, No need to constantly watch. I make ice weekly for my daily use. For party's I think will be a true saver of time. Drinks that are cold first make them last longer. Highly recommend!

I bought this ice maker for my mom’s house for the Thanksgiving holiday. We all really liked the maker (I bought one for my sister, too!) Just two things to consider: One, it is rather loud. It was in the kitchen so that wasn’t a huge concern but it did startle all of us until we got accustomed to the sound of the ice dumping and it did wake up my dad from a chair nap in the next room. lol Two, the ice does begin to melt in the basket sooner rather than later if not used almost immediately. One the positive side: It produces ice very fast and it is wonderfully soft, crunchy bullet-style ice! So good! I may have to buy one for my house, too!

The ice maker is nice, but it doesn’t really stay frozen too long in the machine. Have to put in regular freezer asap, then its frozen as chunk. But can be broken up easily. Other than that its great for me. I don’t have an ice maker in my fridge. Sturdy machine. Makes ice fairly quick too.

It makes ice okay and the quality of the ice is good (very soft ice), but because the basket into which the ice drops is very small, you need to “tend” it quite often. You either need to store ice as it’s made in a separate bag in your freezer or you won’t have much ice as it quits making ice when the tiny ice basket is full. Consequently, you have to constantly watch and dump ice as the basket gets full.

I don’t like how the ice melts in the basket!! As the cycles continue, the ice melts. How is it making ice when it can’t even keep what it made 6-8min ago frozen enough to not melt?? It’s quicker than the old school way but I’m leaning more old school.

To be fair, I can’t really rate this item because I never received it. I ordered it twice and twice I got the wrong ice machine. One that did not have auto cleaning. I had a lot of trouble with customer service trying to get them to come back and get these items as they are quite heavy and I am quite old. I wouldn’t recommend trying to order the item because you might just end up with the wrong one like I did maybe even twice like I did.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY SEEMS TO BE A SCAM I NEVER EVEN RECEIVED MY ITEM SUPPOSED TO CAME YESTERDAY THEN ITS 4:45 TODAY THE ITEM IS STILL STUCK ON DELAYED NO MOVEMENT SINCE YESTERDAY MORNING 7:28AM AND ALL THEY CAN TELL ME IS TO RE ORDER THE ITEM THIS COMPANY ILL I WILL NOT BE ORDERING FROM THEM AGAIN AND I SURE DID GET A REFUND BECAUSE WHAT YALL THOUGHT YALL WAS ABOUT TO SCAM ME TAKING MY MONEY BUT NOT SENDING ME MY ITEM

I purchased this at the end of September when I received it and set it up it worked great. I loved having it but two days ago October 30. It just stopped working nothing just stopped working. I read reviews reviews reviews. This one had somewhat good ones and somewhat bad ones so I decided to give it a try. Do not purchase this.

The ice is small and hollow AND the machine isn't cold enough to keep the ice from melting before the little basket is full. If you need an ice maker, get one with cube ice….not tiny little bullets. Walmart return process was easy and customer service staff was great.

I used this one time and then returned it. The ice cubes started melting as soon as they were made so I had to get them in the freezer immediately. Then they refroze to the bottom of the container in the freezer and stuck. Worthless! Don't buy it. Get one that is actually a little freezer.
