Simzlife 35lbs/24H Nugget Ice Maker Countertop,Portable Ice Maker Machine with Auto-Cleaning, Black

I bought this ice maker for the nugget ice. It was really easy to set up and is not loud at all! It starts making ice immediately. Once the ice basket is full (about 40-60 minutes), we bag it and place it in the freezer. It has exceeded my expectations. My only complaint is the ice scooper is plastic and the holder is right on the top back of the machine. A side holder would have been a better choice, IMO. Even so, I still give it 5 stars.

A little noisier than our last but it doesn’t bother me. Yes you have to occasionally shift the ice forward to make room for the new ice coming down but we had to do that with our bullet shaped ice maker too. This has a deep tub and continuously makes ice (as long as the path is clear). Worth every penny so far!

I've read so many negative reviews of this item saying it makes slush. It started doing that to me as well. I started with distilled water and the nuggets were perfect. Then I got too lazy to go to the store so I was using tap water. That's when I got slush. I tried distilled again and am back to nuggets which makes me very happy as I chew this ice all day. Try distilled water and see if it makes a difference. It did for me

This ice machine is, in one word, awesome! Portable ice machines aren't what you usually think. I make ice all day once or twice a week, depending on consumption, and fill my freezer container. When the ice gets low, I make ice... very convenient!

I really love the machine and it's been a lifesaver I didn't realize when I first bought it tho that the ice would melt a basically make new ice I would have rather had one that kept it frozen and something a little bigger because I use a lot of ice and the fill up a standard reusable straw cup I use easily 3 full scoops and you could probably only get about 5 full scoops of ice per fill up. However as long as you keep adding water every time you use it I mean 20 mins later you have more ice . and yes it takes only a few minutes to start producing ice but it's very slow if I'm being honest it will shoot out like 5 cubes every couple of minutes so you will have to wait some time to get 3 scoops worth like I would. I do like the product none the less for the price I paid I definitely would have paid a little more for something that kept the ice frozen and that held a lot more but again for the price point and functionality of the ice maker definitely give it a 4 stars. Also this ice is top tier chewy and perfect for a nice cold drink. It also has a self cleaning feature which is really useful.

This is a good little nugget maker. It’s quick at making the ice. Tastes good. Doesn’t have and special features. It just makes the ice. :) The only CON about it is that it is SUPER LOUD. Very noisy!!! Sometimes we have to turn it off so we can hear each-other talk or hear the TV in the kitchen. Can be annoying in that regard. However, it is a powerful great little machine. I would still get it again. Just wish I had someplace else to put it because of the noise! lol

This is my second nugget ice maker ordered through Walmart within a year. The first one just started making loud noises and less to no ice. I attempted to get it replaced because it was within the year warranty, but has heard nothing from the company not Walmart. This one is working fine now, but it is very loud. It sounds as if it will quit on me any day. For the price, I should at least get an email or partial refund for a defective item.

I purchased the Simzlife 34lbs/24H Nugget Ice Maker Countertop,Portable Ice Maker Machine with Auto-Cleaning, Black in December of 2024 as a Christmas gift, it was used as normal, was never moved and was kept clean and maintained. The ice maker worked great and loved how fast the ice was made but in July 2025 the machine stopped making ice. I contacted company via email as it stated when bought it had a 1 year warranty with normal use, no response AT ALL! We restarted the machine and waited and cleaned and nothing, we noticed the rotator where it spins to drop ice wasn’t moving, but the machine was cold. For the price we paid and for it not to last 1 year I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL! Even worse when the company or customer service can’t respond! Save your money for a better item.

I purchased this item in November 2024 used as Instructed and used bottled water. Did regular cleaning worked great up until around June or July of 2025. Not even a year. I tried getting ahold of the company with 2 different emails as the manufacturer warranty is a year they never responded . I tried going through Walmart they could not help . I would not recommend this product or this brand for the price I paid you would think the company would stand behind their product they sell.

This is the second Simzlife Nugget Ice Maker that I purchased for my granddaughter’s birthday. Both ice makers stopped working after a few months. I did not purchase protection plan for the first one but I did on the second one. When I filed a claim, the response from Walmart Protection Plans by Allstate was that the ice maker is still under warranty and to contact the manufacturer. However, there is no contact information.
