IMUSA 14in Light Cast Iron Preseasoned Wok with Cool Touch Handles

We use this for so many things. Chow mein, fried rice, stir fry vegetables, you name it! Love that it is pre seasoned with plant sourced oils, and it's a breeze to clean. The non-stick surface works really well when it's preheated properly! I do wish the handles were removable for oven use, but that aside we use it frequently and it's holding up great.

overall it's a quality wok that doesn't have a nonstick lining. the fore handle is a little loose and the main handle gets really hot at the base. you'll only touch it once. haha. but I like it so far and it seems sturdy. time will tell.

Used this item to make a simple orange chicken and noodle dinner. This was so much easier to cook the items compared to a regular pan. Everything moves to the middle and cooks easily from the middle. The oil doesn't evaporate as quickly and the oils and seasonings are better concentrated to all items. Really love this item.

Firstly I would like to say that I received this product free in exchange for my honest review. Onto the wok! This wok is heavy duty and large! It was wonderful to make stir fry in this, plenty of room for everything to cook evenly and no sticking! Si happy to have received the opportunity to try this product!

Right off, I loved the size of the pan. Big and spacious, perfect for cooking meals for our family of 5! I thought the item worked great. No issues with food sticking or anything. It also was easy to wash. Make sure you have room in your cabinets because of the size and depth of the pan, as much as I loved the size, that was the only real issue for me. Had nothing to do with the item but is just something to consider when purchasing. I had never bought from this line/company before but I would definitely consider making more purchases from them after trying the wok!

Im actually impressed with this wok! It feels really sturdy not light at all. It can be used for multipurpose dishes. Its easy to use and easy to clean. This wok is perfect for stir-frying meats, vegetables and rice, and for sautéing. With a little care, this wok should last for a very long time. The only con i found in this wok is that its a little on the heavier side u really need to use both hands with this, luckily it has a small helper handle. Other than that i really lo ed this wok and i highly recommend it.

This imusa 14" preseasoned light cast iron black wok with bakelite handle is the first wok I've owned. It heats up quickly and works like a dream to quickly stir-fry chicken and vegetables. I used a wooden spoon to avoid scratching the surface. I also used oil once the pan was hot, even though the cast iron lends to being non-stick. It is fairly large and can be cumbersome to store. However, it works wonderfully and is easy to clean. I'm happy with this product.

I used this wok to stir fry some veggies and fried rice. It cooked really nice and made for easy temperature control. The maintenance is fairly straight forward and I like that it came pre-seasoned. I am not sure about the weight of it but its fairly hefty the only downside I can think of.

I like how light the Imusa Light Cast Iron wok is. Using cast iron revolves around several rules to use it correctly, to include keeping this preseason pan with a thin coating of oil and ensuring you have both the pan and oil hot before adding food to prevent sticking. It got my favorite brand of ready made fried rice hot and tasting like it was right out of a restaurant. However, the light cast iron comes with a drawback- this means that this isn't only cast iron, but a mixture of metals. Likely due to the pre-seasoning the pan comes with, there is a warning label that the pan contains PFAS, which is why I avoid non-stick cookware. Given woks are generally used for higher temperatures in cooking, this poses a problem for me. I would say as an occasional use item, this wok is adequate.
