Many people lack basic bushcraft skills of being able to start a fire in normal outdoors conditions. This product really works, no need to strike more then one when your getting ready for a fire or using it for the grill. A great product.

The striker part comes off the container very easily. So you could lose your ability to start any fire. That's why I'm putting the burn low. Not many stars cause if you lose that Stringer piece than you of the creek. Well, what do you know, there's another striker pad inside with the matches?

These matches are very powerful, light quickly , burn very quickly, and are hot. CAUTION....the flame cannot be 'blown out'...I had to throw it onto the dirt ground after lighting the camp stove as I could not extinguish it otherwise. A bit dangerous, in my opinion.. Just be aware. Also the matches are very short, so once lit, you have to bring them QUICKLY to the gas burner you are trying to light...another disappointment for me, as I prefer a longer distance between flame, gas burner and me! Having said that, they are powerful,, well packaged and do the job. But because of the safety considerations - as I see it- I will not purchase again. I recommend these matches only for adults w/ experience lighting gas grills/ burners.

Strong sticks, hot flames and work very well in all sorts of weather. I keep these in my camping backpack.

The quality of the packaging is good, but the matches are not very good, they break when you light them, the paper to light them is of very poor quality and if it gets a little wet it no longer sparks to light the match. It comes with several spare papers but the quality is bad. They work like a normal match but at a very high price.
