So happy we found this tartar sauce! Great flavor, perfect consistency between runny and too thick. Nice texture with the relish. Thanks to our friends for the great recommendation. Perfect to serve with fish tacos, fish sticks, and breaded cod fish filets.
I never thought I’d buy another bottled tartar sauce after trying some others and throwing them away! Then I saw this one recommended by a YouTuber and it is so delicious!! It tastes like the sauce on McDonald’s filet-o-fish. Now I can make my fish sandwiches at home. So happy to have found it.
I am very picky with tartar sauce, I don't like my tartar sauce to be sweet and most of the ones you buy in the store are way too sweet for me. I found this one online and read the ingredients and it sounded like it would be better than the others available in stores and it sure was! You can taste the capers in it and I love it. Definitely recommend, especially if you're not fond of sweet tartar sauces.
By far the best tartar sauce I’ve tried.. I used to buy Mariner, but that disappeared, I hate the ones that taste sweet. This one is perfect. I do not like the bottle as it makes it very hard to get the last of it out and it’s not terribly squeezable for old hands. Try tartar sauce on your French fries, you won’t regret it! I can’t eat fish but this is my go to condiment for other things.
The name **Inglehoffer** immediately reminded me of the garden gnome that lives in my yard. He's only eight inches tall, but somehow the squirrels treat him like a war criminal. I've watched them freeze, chatter angrily, and take the long way around the flower bed just to avoid making eye contact with him. The mailman gives him a suspicious glance every day like he's expecting the little guy to make a move. > > Fortunately, the tartar sauce is far less intimidating than its namesake. It's creamy, tangy, and has just the right balance of flavor without overwhelming the fish. It does exactly what a good tartar sauce should do. > > Five stars. The sauce is excellent, and the gnome remains undefeated in his ongoing campaign to establish dominance over my front yard.
I love tartar sauce but usually HATE store bought sauce. This sauce I LOVE. it’s not sweet. It’s got a nice tart tang without being over powering. This is the first grocery store tartar that I’ve ever liked. Try this one, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
I love this tartar sauce bc it has lemon and capers. it's not your run of the mill tartar sauce. Flavor is excellent and I highly recommend. it's a bit pricey but well worth it.
We have been using this brand of tarter sauce for a while now. It is the best. For a while it was not available in store or online. The price of the product has increased about a $1.00, but we still think it is worth it.
This was our first time trying this brand. I usually make my own because we haven’t really liked other brands so much. But we’re pleasantly surprised at how much we did like this one. We will be buying again. Couldn’t submit a photo we ate it all.
I'm a tartar sauce connoisseur. I eat no fish or seafood without tartar sauce, but it must be a good tartar sauce to make me happy. Mediocre doesn't work with me when it comes to tartar sauce. To date, this is the best one I've purchased. It has just the right amount of sweetness and not too much Dill. Of course I've had better tartar sauce in some famous seafood restaurants in Savannah, but when it comes to buying tartar sauce at a grocery store this one is the best I've tried. I feel like I've tried them all by now. It was my mission in 2025 to find a good store-bought tartar sauce. So I did try them all then. My mission failed in 2025. I'm happy to say it succeeded in 2026 with the purchase of this Inglehoffer seafood tartar sauce. im jus sayin...
