Great restaurant quality yum-yum sauce. I was tired of paying a $1 extra for a very very small serving of yum-yum sauce with my hibachi take out. Terry Ho's yum-yum sauce is better than what comes from my hibachi take out restaurant. I highly recommend.
Delicious sauce, tastes just like the "yum yum sauce" served at Habachi restaurants. It is not spicy at all, more sweet and a bit tangy. I tried this with my vegetable fried rice recipe and it was so good. I'm so glad I found this, it is now a staple in now fridge. Price is good for the amount too.
We add for flavoring with any of our steak meals it taste so good and adds so much more flavor. We have extra on hand . We go thru it so often it is a staple like are other condiments
this yum yum sauce is really good. my first time tasting yum yum sauce. its not acidity or spicy. just be careful when you pour because it pours fast. the sauce is thin and light...will definitely buy again. if you have many people that you're going to be using this for you might need two bottles or more because it can go fast and you don't get that much in the bottle. but it's still delicious.
This is delicious!!! I put it on chicken, plain rice, roasted veggies- just about anything you can think of. It is a delightfully creamy, tangy sauce that has a subtle umami profile, and a pleasant saltiness. It is not spicy by any means. It is just really flavorful, creamy sauce. I believe this has a mayo base, judging on flavor alone. It does not taste like thousand island, or anything remotely similar. It is a unique, flavorful addition to any meal- especially Asian cuisine. For the price, what do you have to lose? I definitely recommend trying this out.
This stuff is great, as well as its "Hot" version. We keep both on stock in the fridge. Depending on mood I use one or the other on burgers, avocado halves, salad, all sorts of whatever. Yes it's not quite restaurant version because I'm not paying some chef $80,000+ to make it for me! Great as is or put a drop or two of rice vinegar and stir around.
This used to be really good. Now it's too expensive and also very watery. I thought maybe the first watery one was just a fluke but several months later I got another one and it was very watery as well. I have switched to Great Value which is actually very good and thick.
This sauce was a big disappointment, its basically Thousand Island Dressing bottled to make us think we're getting something special. If I had the option to give this product a zero, I would have. Go buy a bottle of Kraft Thousand Island Dressing and save about $3.00.
I tried hibachi for the first time recently and was obsessed with the yum yum sauce that came with it. I decided to buy a bottle from the store just to have on hand and it tastes nothing like the sauce I got with my dinner. This product just tastes like liquid mayo. I like mayo but not really this stuff. I'll never buy it agian.
tastes like they made fry sauce from Utah and slapped a label on it and charged extra all for stirring ketchup with mayonnaise.
