First things first, Instantpot really are excellent to do business with. This particular appliance, ( my fifth, four air fryers and now this), an absolute pleasure to use. The manual is very good and it just works. Oh and the other half loves the colour.
I'm surprised by how much I like this! I've used it as a pressure cooker making chicken and mashed potatoes. I've used it as a standard crock pot and I've used it to make rice (though follow different instructions than those for rice). I've fallen in love with how versatile this machine is. I'm grateful to have it and will continue to use this!
This is a must add on to your kitchen. The size is perfect to use it alone or to complement your full size instant pot. I use it to pressure cook my meat for Ropa Vieja! It worked incredible. This is the type of tool that you definitely need both sizes. One for the rice and one for the meat. Just perfect.
We've only used it for rice so far, but it turned out perfectly fluffy, evenly cooked, and ready in no time. The 4-quart size is ideal for small families or side dishes, and it looks sleek on the counter. The controls are intuitive and easy to navigate, even for someone using an Instant Pot for the first time. Cleanup was quick and the nonstick inner pot wiped clean with minimal effort. If it makes rice this perfectly, I can't wait to try soups, stews, and more. This little powerhouse has earned a permanent spot on my counter. Highly recommend to anyone who wants fast, consistent, and delicious results with minimal fuss!
Since I got my Instant Pot Duo Plus 8QT, cooking has become so much easier and faster 💕 🔸 I can make rice, meat, stews, or even yogurt in the same pot. 🔸 The screen is super clear and easy to use. 🔸 Cleaning is quick (it goes straight in the dishwasher!). 🔸 And the best part: it saves so much time! Perfect for busy days or when I get home tired. Honestly, this appliance has become my best kitchen helper. If you're looking for something practical, safe, and efficient, I highly recommend it. 🙌
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing Kitchen Upgrade! I just received my Instant Pot Duo Plus 8QT, and I'm so impressed! The size is perfect for family meals, and it cooks everything so fast and evenly. I've already tried rice, soup, and pulled pork — all turned out delicious and tender. The controls are simple to use, and I love the updated display and multiple cooking functions. Cleanup is easy too. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to save time and enjoy great homemade meals!
I used to cook a lot, research and make new recipes, and host dinner parties. But since my son was born (he's 2) I scarcely have time to fix myself a sandwich. Enter Instant Pot! I hadn't tried pressure cooking before, but heard it could substantially reduce cook time. I decided to test out a favorite pork stew recipe - half in the new Instant Pot (20min) and half in my trusty slow cooker (12 hours on high). The results were delicious, and the flavor and texture of the 2 versions were nearly identical, with the Instant Pot reserving just a little more liquid (not a bad thing). Massive time savings and convenience from the Instant Pop pressure cooking mode! The only hitch was sauté mode (hence 4 stars not 5).The lid locking functionality (designed to slowly release steam) made it really hard to cover and uncover to check the contents. The batch I made browning pork and onions in my cast iron skillet was faster to prep and the browned meat was tastier with a better sear. Next time I'll use skillet to sauté and Instant Pot to pressure cook. I'm also excited to try Thanksgiving sweet potatoes and mashed potatoes in the Instant Pot. Disclosure: I got the product for free in exchange for writing a review.
I really like that the inner pot is wider but not as deep as the original IP mini. That said the outer takes up much more space than the original with having the handles. Don't like the fixed lead either. Bit disappointed that it's a dark blue colour as it looks a very light blue on the website and I thought it would match my light blue Vortex Mini. Overall I love IP products and wouldn't buy any other
The preheating setting stayed on for a quite a very long time and that's what really disappointed me. Not sure why spots stayed on my pot even after washing it but other than that the heating setting work fine and cooks well. I'll be using it very often
The picture in the description is NOT what the Instapot I received looks like. I received one that is red, but the Mickey Mouse design is completely different. Its small faces all over. I really liked the design in the pictures in the sales listing. That is what my daughter saw, and she wanted that for Christmas. I appreciate how fast it was shipped. I just don't like the design on the one we received. It isn't as nice a print. Disappointed. Please update the pictures in this for sale listing if are going to send out something that has a different design on it.
