Instant Pot Duo Plus 6-quart Multi-Use Pressure Cooker with Whisper-Quiet Steam Release, V4

I haven't used it very much yet as I have bought it to use in our motor home. I was pleased when I took it out of the package as it was very light and much smaller than my other pot, which is what I hoped for. I have just tried using the sauté, slow cook and pressure cook in my kitchen to cook recipes that I often cook. I was very pleased with the results and think it should work really well in my motor home.

Bought this newer style for my daughter. She loves it! I like that there are arrows on the plastic lid and it seems to be easier to maneuver than my old stainless one.

This has a big safety improvement on the 3 litre instant pot, especially for the easy pressure release button at the front which keeps hands away from the pressure valve. The shallow cooking pot is much better for sautéing vegetables and meat pre pressure cooking. Touch controls are simple to use. It would be good to have a recipe book included, rather than all online. It has been used a lot for soups, mains, cakes dry successfully. I would like to be able to buy a non stick inner pot. I enjoy using it and it is very energy efficient, costing pence to produce a main meal, such as risotto in 10 to 15 minutes with fresh ingredients for 2 to 4 people.

I've made rice and pot roast in here when I got it I didn't think it was a crockpot also I thought it was just rice but I've used it every night and I highly recommend. It is a little big and don't fit in my cabinets so I have to leave it on the counter. It has a lot of different cook settings which hopefully I'll be able to try some new dinner ideas with.

This seller got the item to me well ahead of original expected delivery date. I would have given this 5 stars, but a small disappointment occurred. I ordered the DUO/PLUS and received the DUO Instant Pot. <1st photo on left is the actual listing that I purchased and the 2nd photo on the right is what I received.> The item arrived in excellent condition and I made the decision to test it, before considered to return it. When I tested and inspected the condition, I decided to keep what was sent. What I received really works GREAT and I have been enjoying preparing meals and learning how to maximize the benefits of the Instant Pot. The device itself gets 5 stars!!! It's awesome! I look forward to many years of delicious prepared meals.

I have tried a couple other pressure cookers over the years but the Insta Pot by far is my favorite. As a busy family always on the go the Insta Pot allows me to make a good complete dinner on minimal time. It doesn't take up to much counter space so I leave mine out year around. The directions are clear and precise. Unlike other pressure cookers the Insta Pot has the quick release value in the front so you are not reaching around and burning yourself. My only con about this product is that food does stick in the stainless steel pot so make sure you oil or butter it up before cooking rice and or pasta. After a lot of elbow grease I was able to get it looking brand new again.

cooker arrived today. it's the wrong one. I ordered the 6qt and received a 4qt. When I placed the order, there was only 1 in stock. if it was out of stock by the time my order was processed, they should have let me know to see if I wanted a substitute. I haven't checked by I suspect I probably was charged for a 6qt. I'll keep this one but it'll be a long time before I think of ordering anything other than groceries.

Received instapot in damaged condition. Will return to Walmart.

Used to love Instantpot but (apparently) with this model, reliability is a huge issue (based on others' reviews as well). For such a popular product, not providing any form of customer service is ridiculous - we didn't receive a single response despite emailing more than five times

This is a gimmicky, hard to use Instant Pot. Within 24 hours, the lid locked up and would not open. The steamer basket and my food are locked up inside. I can't severely try to open the lid for fear I might break it and won't get my money back. WALMART HAD NO SOLUTION OTHER THAN TO TAKE A $20 LOSS on the steamer basket locked inside the Instant Pot. I am systematically withdrawing my patronage from Walmart. THEY ARE THE ENEMY WITHIN
