Intex 3000 GPH Sand Filter Pump and Saltwater System for Above Ground Pools

absolutely love my new filter system, switching over to saltwater was the best thing ever. it was easy assembly cut down on our electric bill and the cost of chemicals. will definitely recommend to other people

this pump is a wonderful pump. it has really held its own against the other competing punps as a brand and as a pump in general. i mean really wow its ,put up a strong fight against weatherization. it has to be the best pump for an above ground swimming pool, that i have ever had (and ive had a bunch after raising my kids and grandkids). its just a little complex as far as the mechanic's and operating goes. but if you have knowledge of pumps or the similar or have a strong man around you that can help you then this is the pump you have been looking for and need. a definite 5 stars and no rings around the rosie about that!!

This system works great for my above ground pool… I'd always recommend the option above your pool size just me!

ive had sand filters in the past, and with the new pool last year (above ground almost 14,000 gallons) WAS using the included intex cartridge filter.. seriously underpowered!! something went wrong with last years "saline generator", so when i saw this combo i jumped on it. i spent the extra money and got the clorox brand "filter sand" 2 bags = 50lbs the sand container could have taken more (make sure you use %2320 silica sand not play sand or mortar sand) but the 2 bags was enough for now. after running it 8 hours at a time 3 days later i found the FP or PF (fulltime pump?) option and ran the filter and generator non stop for 2 or 3 days. TOTALLY cleared up the pool! The backwash looked like muddy water. ran the generator on boost the whole time and over chlorinated the pool 🤣 so yeah, that works well too ! the picture of the pool below is as much pre fill cleaning as i was willing to do prior to fillingot for the year

We love it! We have had very little maintenance to do on the pool with this filter system. It has saved us time and money. Our pool is nice and clear all the time. Plus the salt water us so much easier on your skin

Pays for itself after a year with the amount of chemicals you don't have to buy. Add the right amount of salt to your pool and you're set.

You only receive the Saltwater System and NOT the actual compmete pump system. This is a ripoff and false advertisement!
