Java Gel Stain, Pint

Very dark, easy to use stain. Works very well with Oil Rubbed Bronze hardware. The Gel stain is easier to use as it is thicker than regular stain. This means Hess dripping that requires more wiping.

This is THE best stain in the world, I have gone thru gallons of this, stained all my cabinets, wood trim, wood baseboards, a bar, stairs, u name it I've stained it with this gel stain, best color, easy to apply, no sanding , no prep, dont worry about any coatings on things go right over it, best stuff in the world but its getting very pricey, thankfully, i am done remodeling my house and this was my can needed.

This was the perfect stain for my staircase. No prep needed 2 coats.

I did all the work for you in verifying that this is a perfect match for Ikea Black Brown. So if you're trying to match that color for your other furniture, you don't have to experiment. Looks great. Used shop rags and I've never stained anything before either.

The stain is fine. However dont order if you might need to return. Walmart is a giant pain in the rear and doesnt allow you to retun it however doesnt tell you and makes you jump through a bunch of hoops.

I was so excited about this paint with all the UTube videos posted. The color was perfect. The problem was it didn't stick to my standard yellow gold oak cabinets. Had to paint with kils and an adhesive. After 4 coats and letting dry at least 24 hours between each coat still wasn't the dark woodgrain color like in the videos. To solve the problem I used kils and painted with a cabinet paint.
